Ye Zhongming returned to the Afo Tribe and carefully organized the information he had just obtained in his tent.
The most valuable piece of information was, of course, the answer from Han Yihao and his wife on how to exit the secret realm. After a detailed explanation from the couple, it was determined that the exit was likely in three places.
The most promising location was the Blessing Gate of the Temple of Dawn. It was famous throughout the secret realm, and even the posthumous children knew about it. It was said to be a place where divine miracles manifested, and many accomplished temple deacons would leave from there to enter the true divine realm.
Earthlings generally did not believe such rumors, so Han Yihao and his wife thought that this might be the passage connecting the secret realm and Earth, allowing them to return home.
The second possible location was the Curse Abyss of the Night Demon Plain, which was deep within the Night Demon Plain. It was rumored to be a gathering place for monsters and even had demon king-level creatures residing there.
The couple believed this could be a passage because among the posthumous children, there was a legend stating that this was the starting point for the secret realm's resurgence. If they could kill the few great demons guarding it, they could step into a new world and usher in a new era.
With such a convincing legend, it was no wonder that Han Yihao and Sun Yang believed it could be an exit. Ye Zhongming thought the same.
However, compared to the Blessing Gate of the Temple of Dawn, the Curse Abyss of the Night Demon Plain was clearly more difficult to reach. One could easily guess that the demon king-level monsters there could be very high in rank, possibly even level nine. With Ye Zhongming's strength, even if he managed to navigate through the perilous Night Demon Plain, he would still be sending himself to his doom upon arrival.
Compared to the first two, the most hopeful place to reach was the Royal City of the posthumous children, where a Universal Sacred Pool was located. It was usually dry but would occasionally spout sacred water. The most outstanding among the posthumous children could enter it for training, achieving results that were several times better than usual.
Moreover, it was rumored that if one received the Sacred Pool's permission, they could be transported to a mysterious place for training, and upon returning, they would become the strongest.
Although no one had received the Sacred Pool's recognition for a long time, the posthumous children firmly believed in it.
Ye Zhongming knew that the couple had chosen the most persuasive reasons to share with him and that they must have other factors and reasonable inferences leading to this conclusion. These two former engineers were undoubtedly sound in wisdom and logic, and Ye Zhongming was inclined to trust their judgment.
In any case, having such news was better than having none. This could save Ye Zhongming a lot of trouble. Right or wrong, he just needed to check it out.
After more than ten days in the secret realm, Ye Zhongming's mood had lightened for the first time; at least there was hope for an exit.
However, Ye Zhongming had one lingering suspicion.
Han Yihao and Sun Yang said they had spent more than half a year in the secret realm…
This seemed a bit off. How long had it been since the apocalypse began? They entered after becoming three-star evolvers, so the time should be shorter. How could they possibly have been there for over half a year?
But did they lie? Ye Zhongming didn't think so; there was no need to lie about such matters.
So what was going on?
Ye Zhongming found himself confused.
Half a day later, after resting, both tribes almost simultaneously began their actions, heading towards the place where they had discovered the winged demon beast.
Even though the two tribes were currently in some discord, cooperation was still necessary. After all, the winged demon beast was no ordinary monster, and working together would reduce losses for both sides—a good thing for everyone.
