With that roar, many people turned their eyes, shielding them from the blinding white light.
Some were thrown off balance by the tremors of the earth.
The situation was too bizarre; there was no deafening explosion, yet there was a dazzling light and tremor that only explosions could cause. What was happening?
Then came a sporadic gunfire, perhaps just a few dozen shots, before it stopped.
Zhang Dalong turned his head, peering out from behind the ghostly figure, his mouth agape, still holding remnants of meat between his teeth, wearing a look of utter disbelief.
Lou Zhengxiao was shaken off his horse. As he stood up, everything before him left him in a stupor, his fingers hanging at his side, trembling slightly.
Mo Ye's vision returned. She looked in the direction of the sound, and there stood a familiar face, filled with rage.
Lu Yi wiped his face and smiled, while Sister Rong covered her mouth, tears streaming down her cheeks. Those warriors who had proclaimed their willingness to die as citizens of Cloud Summit were finally unable to hold back, letting out huge cheers.
However, those Cloud Summit Villa soldiers who had just chosen to surrender wore complex expressions, a mix of embarrassment and shame, unsure of what to do.
The coalition of Ying City Prison and the Lou family had originally encircled the remnants of Cloud Summit Villa, but now, a significant gap had opened in the almost airtight siege.
There, it had turned into a ground covered in flesh.

Zhang Dalong and some others from Ying City Prison did not know what this thing was called, but they had witnessed its power. Under that giant roulette in Ying City, Ye Zhongming used it as the last straw to break the camel's back, turning the Radiant World Army into a bunch of half-dead chickens.
Now, this terrifying weapon had reappeared. After triggering one, another was held by a middle-aged man with a slightly plump figure.
