At this moment, Ye Zhongming was well-known among the dwarves.
However, no one could have imagined that this person had brought such immense pain and provocation to the Tarros Red Dwarfs and Divine Artisan City.
Previously, they had never taken this small figure seriously; only a few low-ranking members of the Foreign Affairs Department knew about him.
But gradually, from being a novice to becoming the spokesperson of the Alliance of Small Races, then establishing his own manor and causing chaos in Divine Artisan City, and now acting as a central figure to unite various parties in an attack, it was hard for any Tarros Red Dwarf to claim they didn’t know him.
Encountering such a person meant that both sides would be locked in a fight to the death.
Moreover, these elite dwarf warriors had received orders to eliminate all enemies in the city during the transformation of Divine Artisan City.
With this person in the city, he had to be killed.
Ye Zhongming observed slightly and realized he could not escape.
There were two dwarves of similar rank to him among the warriors, while the rest were all peak experts.
Under the mechanical battle armor and combat assistance, their speed might not surpass Ye Zhongming’s, but it wouldn’t be far off either. In situations requiring constant pauses to attack certain areas, Ye Zhongming would inevitably face their attacks.
Since he couldn’t shake them off and couldn’t get out temporarily, there was only one way to resolve this.
Facing five hundred opponents was a significant challenge for anyone who had not yet reached the peak.
Ye Zhongming charged forward, slashing with his knife.
Before the knife even touched the air, it vanished.
Regarding the rules, Ye Zhongming had been trying to understand them as deeply as possible, hoping to apply them in practice.
For instance, in equipment crafting.
He couldn’t achieve the perfection of merging primordial power and equipment like the divine artisan, creating divine-level gear. But that didn’t stop him from integrating some of his understanding of the rules into his artisan skills.
Like this war knife, Ye Zhongming imbued it with the power of rules, or rather, a simulated power of rules through elemental power.
Elemental power was the primordial energy Ye Zhongming understood and was most familiar with, thanks to his relationship with the elemental spirits.
They had reached a point where they could no longer be described as merely harmonious; in a sense, Ye Zhongming and the elemental spirits had become one. Unless Ye Zhongming died, these spirits would never leave.
As true primordial energy, the elemental spirits allowed Ye Zhongming to master and comprehend elemental power.
Thus, using elemental power to create weaponry became Ye Zhongming’s optimal choice.
Though there were still numerous issues during the crafting process, such as integration problems, material issues, and the long hesitation between using a single element versus combining all elements.
In the end, Ye Zhongming chose to integrate all elements, which would provide a stronger impact and be harder to defend against.
After as many as twelve failures, he finally crafted this knife.
Don’t underestimate those twelve failures; the materials consumed would have sufficed to elevate the Star-Eye Clan from the brink of extinction to a median race.
Around the already swiftly arranged dwarf formation, a layer of faint white mist appeared, so thin it barely allowed any visualization.
This phenomenon emerged when the knife disappeared in the air.
Next, a red circle appeared beneath the dwarves’ feet, pulsing like a heartbeat.
Following that, sparkling leaves appeared out of nowhere, drifting among the dwarven ranks.
The white mist, red circle, and jade leaves enveloped the entire elite dwarf unit.
The dwarves didn’t know what these things were, but they understood that being surrounded by them couldn’t be a good sign.
The leading dwarf lightly tapped his weapon, and the entire unit sprang into action, with all dwarves slashing their weapons in different directions with the help of the auxiliary system.
