“Lord Leimao!”
“Master, kill them!”
“Counterattack! Counterattack!”
…………
Such shouts began to rise and fall among the dwarf ranks after the remark 'What are you panicking for?'. The mighty meatball that had seemed invincible from the start was split in half, providing unmatched encouragement and confidence to the Tarros Red Dwarf mechanical warriors, who were already showing signs of collapse.
Normally, during a battle, the morale of both sides fluctuates; when one side's morale is high, the other side, even if they haven't lost their fighting spirit, will be temporarily suppressed on a mental level.
Thus, after this strong figure known as Lord Leimao appeared and crushed a meatball, the Tarros Red Dwarfs, whose morale was high, began to suppress the attacking side.
But what are beastmen? They had already reduced Liu Zhenghong to nothing more than a bloodthirsty fighting instinct, completely unaware of fear. Not to mention that a meatball had been split, even if all the surrounding beastmen were killed and only one remained, they would still charge forward until death.
The result was that they should have taken the opportunity to push the beastmen off the city wall, but instead only slightly compressed their space, and the entire front line remained immobile.
Beastman warriors lacked the strength of these dwarfs, but after injecting some kind of potion, this gap had narrowed significantly. Coupled with their numerical superiority and indifference to death, they achieved their current results.
“Ants!”
It was that voice again, this time much closer.
This time, it seemed to be a prelude to an attack, and the life on the city wall saw a purple-black light streak from afar to nearby, instantly sweeping across a section where the beastmen immediately fell in droves. Just like that, nearly a thousand beastmen were cleaved in two.
After a single strike, Lord Leimao finally revealed his true form.
A stout dwarf dressed in seemingly simple leather armor appeared above the city wall, wielding a beta-shaped weapon.
The cheers of the dwarfs erupted.
Leimao, the vice commander of the first mechanical legion of Tarros Red Dwarfs.
The strange weapon in his hand was a divine level equipment known as “Trap.”
As for why it was called this, perhaps not many dwarfs knew, but more did not care what it was called, as long as they knew this thing was extremely terrifying.
From the information obtained by the Su Clan and Ye Zhongming, this 'Trap' had at least four capabilities. The first was the basic ability, imprinting. The second was position swap kill; after marking a target with the imprint, the user swaps positions with the target. When swapping, the user's original position leaves behind a halo, and when the target appears within the halo, it rapidly shrinks, transforming into a light blade that attacks the target within the circle.
Because the halo shrinks almost instantaneously, and the attack power was extremely strong, it was essentially a single-target kill ability unless one could resist the damage with equipment and physical strength.
The third ability was jumping kill; after the user activated this ability, a light blade would appear before them, and after a brief moment, they would appear next to the marked target or area, causing damage. Both the strike that cleaved the meatball and the one that killed over a thousand beastmen just now utilized this ability.
The fourth and most famous ability of this weapon was the black light rain screen. This was a support ability, but its effects were somewhat perverse. Once activated, a black light rain with a radius of thirty meters would appear around the user. Within this area, any target other than the user would experience a weakening effect, which would rapidly increase over time, reaching its peak after three minutes, effectively halving the opponent's physical attributes and skill power.
Of course, if one was strong enough and had sufficiently good equipment, they might be able to resist this weakening. But divine level weapons were not so easy to deal with, especially considering that the user was undoubtedly a peak powerhouse; complete immunity was nearly impossible.
