"Whoo!" "Whoo!" "Whoo!"
In the not-so-small room, the sound of breathing was quite evident.
Outside, there was a bit of noise; that was the commercial street, the sounds and sunlight streaming in through the wooden windows, bringing a hint of brightness and vitality to the place.
In fact, the room was filled with people, all fully armed warriors. They were waiting, waiting for the moment to strike.
The perspective pulled upward, and the entire Sijiekaer City remained calm and peaceful.
The thriving street economy here still exuded its unique charm, even though a live broadcast was happening that could change the situation for all races in the universe.
The people here believed that unless the Slave Race came, nothing would fall upon their heads.
Because this was Sijiekaer City, a pillar city within the powerful Tarros Red Dwarf territory, and because there was a formidable mechanical legion here!
In a way, this place, like the bustling fortress, was a testament to the actual ruling status of the Tarros Red Dwarfs over this Survivor Fortress.
Originally, Sijiekaer City was the garrison for the third and fourth mechanical legions, but previously, Lingqin took away the third mechanical legion, leaving only one behind.
However, for a commercial city, having five hundred thousand mechanical warriors, along with over two hundred thousand auxiliary troops and logistics staff, was already enough to maximize the impact of deterrence; when both reorganized legions were present, the deterrence was overwhelming.
"Didi! Didi!" The electronic clock on the table emitted a crisp reminder.
With a whoosh, everyone in the room stood up, each person's wrist terminal connected to a special channel.
"I feel a bit ashamed."
A voice sounded from the terminal.
"Although we are not a core force of the Su Clan, it's not an exaggeration to call us elite."
"But we... can only stay here."
"This is Sijiekaer City, where the dwarves' fourth mechanical legion is stationed, along with other auxiliary troops and the city's guard and private armed forces, totaling around one million."
"Our goal is to hold them back, to pin them down here."
At this point, the speaker sighed deeply.
"We are the elite of the Su Clan, yet we don't even have the qualifications to attack Divine Artisan City! We can only come here to hold back an ordinary dwarven mechanical legion. I don't care how you think, but I feel ashamed because I am seen as weak, weak enough not to qualify for the main battlefield!"
As the person spoke, he was already roaring with suppressed anger.
"For a warrior, what is this if not a disgrace?!"
The breathing in the room suddenly thickened, even the terminal transmission couldn't block it, clearly resonating in the ears of every warrior.
"What do we do about this disgrace? Wash it away!"
"Only then can we hold our heads high in the future! Don't tell me about the diversity required by war or that every place is important; thatβs nonsense. I only know that in our race's thousands of years of transformation, we..."
"Have never stood at the center!!!"
"We all know our status in the clan. I've been thinking, have our pride and self-esteem blinded our eyes, preventing us from moving forward?"
"Or... forget it, nothing else matters, what matters is that today, you, and I, must wash away this disgrace of being elite warriors."
"The order from above is to hold back this million-strong dwarven force, and how many do we have? There are 120,000 who entered the city, and outside, once the battle starts, we have more than 300,000 to support us."
"Numerically we are at a disadvantage, but if you deduct the dwarfs' auxiliary troops, their numbers are only slightly more than ours. Moreover, we are in the dark while they are in the light; we still have one chance for a surprise attack. So, I decide..."
"To change our mission objective from holding back the enemy to... eliminating the enemy!"
β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦β¦
Five minutes later, in the streets of Sijiekaer City, waves of blue torrents burst forth, swiftly weaving through, obliterating all military locations such as city guards along the way.
