Luo Hehe only glanced up once and then stopped watching the impending attack directed at him.
The last lamp groove of the Four Directions Pestle in his hand lit up, emitting a nearly transparent yet captureable glow, resembling the distortion created by rising air temperature, with lines piercing his eyes.
Luo Hehe gritted his teeth, allowing the explosive light to attach itself to the purple long line emitted from the third groove.
The Four Directions Pestle possessed four abilities; among the first three, two were for attack and one was for defense. The last ability, known as ‘blessing of the bath,’ was the glow emitted from the fourth groove, amplifying the effects of the first three abilities.
The first attack ability, ‘candle's arrival,’ was an instant activation skill with high damage, but it required a cooldown time. After being dodged by the three-man affair, it could not be used again for two minutes.
The second attack ability was the purple long line, which clearly inflicted significant damage on the three-man affair.
As for the monster above, it served as a manifestation of defense. Though it appeared to have taken a certain amount of damage, it should be able to hold up for a while.
Thus, Luo Hehe chose to enhance only the purple long line with the fourth ability; he needed to finish the battle here quickly to assist his companions. Enhancing defense was meaningless in this context.
Of course, he was also certain that the blue giant beast would not put him in danger before he broke the three-man affair's arm.
Luo Hehe knew his opponent thought the same.
In this battle, he opted for a swift resolution, while his opponent chose to engage.
Being a peak expert, Luo Hehe did not let his guard down; he was simply filled with confidence.
He did not believe that a life could withstand a divine level enhancement solely with physical strength.
If that were possible, what would be the point of divine levels?
Undeniably, the appearance of the book keeper had shocked him greatly. He could not comprehend why these individuals, permanently bound within the Library Palace, suddenly stepped onto the forefront of the era, nor could he understand how they managed to lift curses that any race believed to be absolutely unbreakable.
But since things had happened, there was nothing more to say. Seeking reasons and answers was a matter for the future; what he needed to do now was to kill.
To kill the person referred to as the three-man affair in front of him, to kill the other emerging book keepers, to kill everything that dared to block the path of the Tarros Red Dwarf.
Empowered by the blessing of the bath, the purple long line crazily attacked the three-man affair's arm, as thick as a door, and with the bleeding, rupturing, and showing bone from that arm, Luo Hehe's eyes turned blood red.
In such a life-or-death struggle, Luo Hehe had never flinched.
A massive fist shadow descended, moving from slow to fast.
The monster's shadow went up to meet it, and at the moment of impact, the surrounding space trembled.
A silent yet impactful roar erupted from the monster's mouth, and the previously visible outline became nearly transparent after the collision.
There were two fist shadows.
The second fist shadow followed closely; the blue monster ultimately could not withstand it. After a slight resistance, it vanished, and another faint fist shadow fell, landing on Luo Hehe.
The purple long line experienced a brief pause but quickly resumed its attack.
The high-level armor on Luo Hehe's body developed large cracks. Although it didn’t seem to have visible external injuries like bleeding, this blow clearly made him feel uncomfortable.
Yet, this dwarf's peak expert did not move. He fully activated the purple long line because he heard the sound of his opponent's bones cracking.
The three-man affair did not move either, despite the visible speed at which his arm's bones were breaking under the relentless attack.
The three-man affair swung his fist, and still two fist shadows appeared before descending.
