CHAPTER TEXT:
Inside the spacecraft, the atmosphere was not as oppressive as it had been before.
After all, it had been several days since their defeat.
These beastmen gradually accepted this reality.
Especially the beastman warriors flying through the vast universe; they had become the elite among their kind and were relatively intelligent. Once they boarded the gigantic vessel they had never seen before and entered space, they suddenly felt a sense of relief.
The ones who defeated them were actually far stronger than they had imagined.
Was this the starry sky they had gazed up at countless times? Many beastmen peered through the small ventilation holes around them, catching glimpses of the outer windows, and through those windows, they saw the boundless cosmos.
They did not know what fate awaited them, but they guessed they might survive.
There were many powerful beastmen here, with over a dozen at the top level, and the others were mostly at the level of seven-star and eight-star evolvers. If their earlier surrender had left them with a shred of reluctance, now they were truly left with nothing but prayers.
"We're descending!" a beastman general suddenly announced, causing many people in the cabin to look up at the outer windows. Indeed, where their eyes could see, it was no longer various celestial bodies, but many enormous artificial structures.
Soon, the hatch that had them confined opened, and beings signaled for them to board large transport vehicles.
"What should we do? Should we escape?" one beastman asked the dozen top-tier strongmen scattered around, wondering if they should take action to flee, especially since they had not been restrained in any way.
Aside from lacking weapons and equipment, these beastmen were not shackled in any way.
"Let's wait and see where we're going. There are too many people here; everyone wait for a signal," the beastman general instructed after assessing the situation.
They were not bound hand and foot, and were not even prohibited from moving and communicating nearby.
This puzzled the beastman warriors greatly.
As the large transport vehicles loaded them up and began moving in a certain direction, after more than ten hours, the beastman warriors felt the vehicle halt. After waiting for more than twenty minutes, the vehicle doors were opened, and a team of about ten thousand began directing them to disembark and gather in a square.
Two million beastmen were densely packed in an open area, which was quite spacious, showcasing the vastness of the place.
The beastmen looked around, discovering that the architecture was beautiful, well-organized, and exquisitely designed, surrounded by flowers and greenery.
The ground, made of blue stone, was very solid, with some areas marked with lines and signs, as well as devices embedded in the ground whose purpose was unknown.
Many beastmen speculated that this should be a training ground, one capable of accommodating two armies of over ten thousand for a fierce battle.
After all, if it were a training session, it would be impossible for them to stand so closely together.
The beastman generals observed the order-maintaining beings around them but found it difficult to discern much; they could only see that these individuals were well-equipped, wearing the same kind of gear they had seen humans wearing in the Titan Secret Realm.
After a moment, they saw a young human emerge, speaking in a language they could understand: “I believe you all know about King Hillrori's last wishes. I highly respect it. Although it failed, failure was inevitable. Therefore, please also respect it, and respect me. If you complete your tasks, perhaps you will survive. At that time, I will grant you a degree of freedom, or even offer your race a brand new planet, allowing you to start anew there.”
Some beastmen displayed contempt at his words, and even a few powerful beastman generals scoffed.
This place was Cloud Summit Manor, and the one speaking was Ye Zhongming, whose eyes were bloodshot.
Ye Zhongming moved and vanished from his spot, reappearing next to one of the scoffing beastman generals, lightly tapping the general's body before flashing back to his original location.
