Chapter: Two-in-One
When the members of the Alliance of Small Races left, each one felt dizzy.
They had experienced the greatest shock since their birth.
Even Oligar, who usually had a carefree demeanor, was unusually silent on the way back.
But if one looked closely, they would see the complex emotions in his and his father Dodo's eyes.
There was a hint of confusion, a touch of fear, a dash of expectation, and a surge of excitement!
"Son," Dodo suddenly called out to Oligar, who raised his head in confusion.
"There are only two outcomes for us in the future." Dodo's voice started unsteadily but sharpened as he continued.
"Either... we die there."
"Or... we reach the pinnacle."
"But no matter which one, history will remember us."
………………
"Isn't your decision a bit rash?" Chao Yang lay on the ground, speaking to Ye Zhongming, but his gaze often drifted to Luo Luo.
Qing Mo, who was beside him, rarely spoke but clearly agreed with Chao Yang.
"Why do you keep looking at me? I can only mate with him," Luo Luo said with a serious face.
Ye Zhongming: "……"
Looks like this joke isn't going anywhere, right?
"Overthinking it, little tree. We Dragon Race don’t..." Chao Yang began but suddenly stopped, his mind conjuring the image of a two-faced dragon.
That promiscuous disgrace of the Dragon Race!
"I..." Chao Yang felt that her calmness had vanished. She suppressed her irritation and silently decided to teach that two-faced dragon a lesson later. "I'm just very interested in your ability to transform into a human."
"If our Dragon Race could transform into other forms, it would be much more convenient at times."
Chao Yang had heard Ye Zhongming mention something about dragon knights before, and at first, she didn’t understand what it meant, but later realized when she saw Luo Luo.
Of course, she retaliated; one day, she told Ye Zhongming that if he didn’t know what to call her, he could just call her Auntie.
What Chao Yang meant was that her age could be seen as that of a female elder to him, but Ye Zhongming looked at her with a strange gaze, leaving Chao Yang puzzled.
However, setting those thoughts aside, if she could transform into another life form, she wouldn’t have to stay here every day.
She had great longing for the Survivor Fortress, eager to see different cultures.
Unfortunately, she must stay in the villa for now.
Although it was spacious and had a good environment, it was too small compared to the Colorful Cloud Fragment Star Belt.
The most important thing was that she couldn’t fly!
For a Dragon Race, not being able to fly was as uncomfortable as other life forms not being able to stretch their legs while sleeping!
"This, ah, can’t help you." Luo Luo expressed her helplessness. The Life Brain was something one could not seek out; she was just lucky.
Moreover, the method for the Dragon Race to transform into other forms must differ from that of plant systems, even lacking potential.
Disappointed, but Chao Yang just asked out of curiosity; it would be best if there was a possibility, but if not, it didn't matter much.
What she cared more about was Ye Zhongming's crazy plan.
"Are you confident? Solving the problem in such a short time and..." Chao Yang didn’t finish her sentence when she saw Ye Zhongming stand up.
"No." Ye Zhongming smiled and walked outside, saying, "What plan is perfect? Furthermore, I want to be well-prepared, but unfortunately, they don’t give me the time."
"But there’s simply not enough time!"
Chao Yang lifted her massive head, her voice tinged with urgency.
She had signed a contract with Ye Zhongming. If anything happened to him, given her higher level, she might spare her life, but the cost of survival was uncertain.
So regarding Ye Zhongming's decision, Chao Yang felt obligated to intervene, but evidently, he didn’t seem to need suggestions.
"Then let’s delay it until the day I’m ready."
………………
In the Dark Network.
"What does A11 mean? Why are so many tasks issued at once?"
