Chapter
"Two-in-one, yet another thankless chapter~~"
Looking at these abilities, Ye Zhongming knew that regardless of his future combat power, the number of skills he would have would be terrifying.
One more point that left a deep impression on Ye Zhongming was that among the abilities brought by these spirits, the support abilities were truly surprising.
First, let’s talk about the abilities of the water spirit. Among them, there are only two attack abilities, namely Ability 8 and Ability 9, "Anger Night’s Surging Waves" and "Water Naga."
The former is a group attack skill, creating water from the ground, turning it into waves, and during the skill’s duration, it will blind the target. There is no clear explanation of its damage, but Ye Zhongming had witnessed it while capturing the water spirit. He felt it was beyond the description of surging waves; it was like a series of metal walls with the power of nature flapping against the target. The damage suffered was not elemental water damage at all, but rather the impact from the high-speed moving metal walls.
It was like… a gigantic metal flyswatter hitting the target, continuously and unbroken.
Water Naga is a summoning ability, a perverse skill that can continuously summon as long as there is enough energy.
Each summon of a Water Naga consumes a fixed amount of energy, meaning that the total energy of each Water Naga is set, and the power they exert should be similar.
However, this is not the case; each Water Naga can have its existence altered through fine-tuning by the elemental spirit.
For instance, they can be offensive or defensive, striking or supportive…
Water Naga is not a singular type; for example, if they are offensive, they can be melee warriors wielding weapons, or ranged units throwing water balls or shooting ice arrows from behind, or even speedy assassins and shield-bearing guardians.
Another point that surprised Ye Zhongming was that these Water Naga can use weapons and armor, and if they are water attribute, they can even utilize the abilities attached to them.
Originally, Ye Zhongming thought this was a bit of overkill, but when he had the water spirit summon a Water Naga, he was shocked.
Was the energy required to summon a Water Naga really so little? Although both he and the water spirit expended energy, it was just a tiny bit. And with that little energy, when not in combat, a Water Naga could exist for an extremely long time, easily lasting two days. Even in battle mode, during full attack, they could exist for over three hours!
And the tiny amount of energy needed to summon them could be replenished in just a few minutes.
Could it be because most of the water spirit's abilities are supportive that it granted such a powerful ability?
Ye Zhongming estimated that, without considering future combat power, he and the water spirit could summon around the number of a Bronze Camp at once.
The individual combat power of a single naga is indeed not very high, with an overall combat power estimated to be only a few thousand fuleira, but when fine-tuned to possess a certain specialty, say full attack or full defense, the combat power would soar to over ten thousand.
Having over ten thousand fuleira at over ten thousand combat power that can use weapons and equipment, isn’t that equivalent to having an extra army?
This is the attack ability of the water spirit. Coupled with the passive abilities of "Unhindered Space" and "Glutton," the rest are all supportive skills.
Ability 3, "Gentle Waters Between Clouds," is a large-scale nurturing healing skill. When injured, whether from external injuries, internal injuries, or even mental trauma, rapid recovery can be achieved within the skill's range. When not injured, being within the skill can enhance concentration and mental stability, while applying a marking status that increases damage recovery capability several times within an hour after leaving the skill's range.
Ability 4, "Stream Curtain," is a defensive ability that can adjust the range of the skill upon release; it can protect a large area or be cast individually for a single person. This skill, akin to a water curtain, possesses considerable defensive power, especially against fire-type abilities.
