I want... everything!
But Ye Zhongming didn't dare to say it out loud. He knew that if it weren't for saving Qing Mo, if it weren't for seeking a way to detoxify his body, these giant dragons would never have brought him here.
The items here would certainly not be easily given to Ye Zhongming. In a sense, this place was the ancestral tomb of the Dragon Race; disturbing anything inside would be no different from digging up someone’s grave.
So, even though Ye Zhongming longed for it in his heart, knowing this was a treasure trove and wanting to take as much as he could, he at least couldn't do so for the time being.
He had to take it slow.
Ye Zhongming thought for a moment and said, "If I need to replenish, I'm not sure which I need right now or which would be good for me, so... can I try them all when I need them?"
Chao Yang thought for a moment and nodded.
She lay beside him and watched Ye Zhongming without moving.
If possible, Ye Zhongming naturally wouldn't want this peak expert watching him; it made him feel exposed. But now, being in their ancestral tomb, he had no right to oppose it, so he could only close his eyes and begin to cultivate energy.
He planned to rely on the two elemental spirits to access the space-time gate.
Their ability to pass through space without barriers gave Ye Zhongming hope.
Of course, it was only a possibility; after all, there was a space-time storm behind that gate, and Ye Zhongming could not be sure that the two little guys would come out unscathed.
Previously, he had been very attentive to that gate, trying to communicate with the two little spirits that had fully awakened.
Since Ye Zhongming learned to condense energy from the last planet hunting grounds, he had been nurturing the two little spirits continuously over the past year while also letting them inspect various precious materials to see if they wanted to eat.
After coming to this side of the universe, the two little spirits' appetite had significantly decreased compared to Earth; they were practically anorexic, only eating occasionally.
Of course, Ye Zhongming attributed this to their pickiness, as they were now only consuming extremely precious materials. It might also relate to the fact that they had passed their larval stage and entered the growth phase.
Besides the two elemental spirits, Ye Zhongming actually also wanted to relieve the seals on the Mountain King Crown and the Sea King Crown.
This was clearly a great opportunity.
If they could be upgraded, or even if just one seal could be broken, perhaps unexpected surprises would arise that could assist in opening the space-time gate.
Ye Zhongming quieted down; after a while, there was no movement. Naturally, Chao Yang wouldn't be anxious right now; she was just curious as the energy around this person became active.
At the level of a great expert, one may control some energy flows within their body, but concerning external energy, the absorption and utilization capabilities differ greatly from those at the peak realm.
In simple terms, those at the great expert level are still in the 'instinct' stage, while beings at the peak realm have crossed that level and begun to enter the 'utilization' stage.
Now, the energy outside Ye Zhongming was entering his body, hinting at the taste of 'utilizing' energy.
This situation lasted for a while, and then Ye Zhongming opened his eyes, causing the energy around him to disperse.
"What’s wrong?" Chao Yang didn’t understand what Ye Zhongming was trying to do, but just now, she was certain that he was about to do something significant, and it seemed he had entered a critical phase.
"I suddenly realized an issue."
Ye Zhongming stood up, frowning as he looked at Chao Yang, "The toxins inside your bodies are related to this fog, right? I haven’t been here long and haven't been cultivating, so I naturally have no issues. But if I practice here and absorb the energy in the air, won't I become poisoned too?"
"And, I need to absorb and purify energy for some of my energy companions. The purified energy, wouldn't its toxicity be higher? If that's the case, we would all become poisoned, and it would be hard to save Qing Mo."
