“Ha.” Anu Mious chuckled nonchalantly.
He wasn't worried, because he believed his teammates could deal with the opponents outside. The one who should be worried was the support from the opposing side. Anu Mious was even guessing what method they would choose to fight him.
Looking at the vines surrounding the space, Anu Mious wondered just how much ability the opposing support could control. Did they really just want to trap him? He slightly raised the two circular weapons in his hands and began to consider whether he should break a hole in this confinement space, so that the enemies outside could see him kill their companion.
Yama Tree raised both hands, and his originally fair and delicate hands began to transform into a gray-brown bark-like state. The green light in his eyes intensified, and the ground around them, which had originally been covered with some weeds and wildflowers, began to sway without wind.
“By the looks of you, you’re not of the same kind as those beings from Cloud Summit, are you?” Anu Mious said, observing that Yama Tree seemed to be preparing for an attack. However, he did not initiate an offensive, but instead posed this question.
It was clear that Yama Tree was a plant-based lifeform, not of the same kind as Liang Chuyin, Gao Yi, or Ye Zhongming. Since they were not of the same kind, they were technically not of the same race.
Seeing Yama Tree seemingly listening, Anu Mious smiled.
“For life forms that are not of the same race, the inclusivity of All Races of the Universe is quite good, but only to a degree. It may not be noticeable usually, but when it matters, those who are not of the same race will definitely be abandoned.”
Anu Mious's weapons began to spin, but it was evident he was controlling the speed of rotation, and no whistling sounds emerged.
“To be honest, it would be the same in our Hall People Camp. However, our race is vast, with too many people and more resources, so for any external races showing potential, we can provide resources that other races cannot match. And when it comes to abandoning fellow beings from All Races, it may also be during times of racial peril—what we abandon is not just our own kind.”
While speaking, Anu Mious focused on Yama Tree and continued, “Your racial characteristics determine that your life will be much longer than those of other races, at least longer than your current companions. In the future, your strength will be the same. If you remain in your current environment, you will soon hit a ceiling. At that time, it won’t just be your progress that is delayed, but also your future potential. The time you waste may very well become the reason you cannot break through a certain bottleneck.”
Anu Mious slightly raised his hand, and the speed of the weapon's rotation increased.
“So, come to the Hall People, and you will become a key training subject of our race. You will have unimaginable resources, you will see unprecedented peaks, and reach the realms you have always dreamed of.”
“I, Anu Mious, swear by the name of my teacher, peak expert Zhad Shela.”
After hearing Anu Mious's words, Yama Tree lowered his hands, and the hands that had transformed slightly returned to their original state.
This made Anu Mious's initial hope suddenly grow.
If he could obtain such a support, there would certainly be no immediate difference for the entire Hall People, but it might be different in the future. Moreover, it would be of great help to Anu Mious himself.
In the future of cultivation and trials, having a top-level support companion of similar strength by his side would be an extremely pleasant thing.
Anu Mious was now half to sixty percent sure he could persuade Yama Tree to stand down, eighty percent sure she would watch the upcoming battle without intervening, and one hundred percent sure that in the ensuing battle, Yama Tree would reveal her true strength.
No one could resist the invitation of the Hall People!
This was the most genuine thought in Anu Mious's mind at that moment.
