At least from the outside perspective, the City of the Divine Artisan was as busy as ever.
The mysterious actions of the mechanical legion did not seem to have caused any disturbances, as the air was still filled with the roaring of machines day and night, permeated by the scent of melting metal.
Ordinary visitors and buyers were observing goods in the area marked by the Tarros Red Dwarf, while others were gathered on the second floor, discussing their topics of interest. The real big shots who came here were quietly waiting on the third floor.
In this setting, a divine level auction was about to begin.
Whether it was the ordinary participants unaware of the underlying events or the big shots who were sensitive to the situation, at that moment, they were deeply shaken.
At the previously announced time, it was as if the entire City of the Divine Artisan had awakened.
First, there was a tremor that wasn’t too intense but could be distinctly felt by everyone; the whole city swayed slightly under many terrified gazes. Following this, an almost cataclysmic force enveloped every life within the City of the Divine Artisan.
In the midst of this tremor and fear, everyone looked up towards the Divine Eye, which sat at the highest point of the city.
It seemed as if something symbolizing the City of the Divine Artisan had opened there.
Even for many residents of the City of the Divine Artisan, this was the first time witnessing the opening of the Divine Eye.
When it was closed, the Divine Eye resembled a metal sphere; those with substantial strength or keen perception could feel a faint pressure emanating from it. But in the eyes of many, it was merely a symbol.
Within the dwarven community, there was indeed a ranking of divine artisans that was based not on strength but on 'generation.' This divine level Divine Eye was jointly created by three masters of the fifth generation of divine artisans, and it remains, to this day, the only divine level equipment ever produced by three divine artisans working together.
That era marked the glorious age of the Tarros Red Dwarf; many said that if those dwarves had aimed to unify the All Races of the Universe at that time, they could have succeeded.
Unfortunately, those dwarves were solely focused on creating equipment and had no interest in unification, a situation that lasted for many years, spanning the fifth, sixth, and seventh generations of divine artisans. In each era, there were at least three divine artisans in existence, and during the peak of the seventh generation, there were even five divine artisans alive at the same time.
It was also during this time that divine level weapons were produced in large numbers, accounting for nearly half of all divine level equipment that exists today.
After the Divine Eye was created by the fifth generation of divine artisans, it was placed atop the completed City of the Divine Artisan during the seventh generation, becoming the city’s guardian deity.
So far, it has only opened three times.
The first time was when it was first placed; it enveloped the entire city under its protection, causing the city to shine for three days as if declaring itself to the world.
The second time was during the famous "Twilight War," when five hundred thousand troops threatened the city. The Divine Eye unleashed its attack, directly crushing the siege battle that had yet to commence.
The last time, interestingly, was related to the Star-Eye Clan. Back then, the formidable Commander Qing Tong stirred up trouble among the All Races of the Universe, and a prominent figure among the peak experts challenged the Tarros Red Dwarf, who were momentarily without a divine artisan. The Divine Eye then struck down with a thunderous blow, severely wounding that powerful figure, who retreated and subsequently died within ten years due to the worsening of his injuries.
Some have claimed that if it weren't for that figure's withdrawal, perhaps that upheaval could have truly brought about a seismic change among the All Races of the Universe.
