Chapter 2368: First Encounter in Divine Artisan City (Part 1) 🏙️

Published: February 13, 2025

While the Star-Eye Clan was still figuring out how to deal with Ye Zhongming, the King of Cloud Summit had already arrived at Survivor Fortress No. 7, where the Tarros Red Dwarf auction was set to take place.

This location also served as the headquarters for the Tarros Red Dwarf. Accompanying Ye Zhongming was Zizikaba, both of them wearing identity-concealing masks and items. The Su Clan was allowed to attend, but Jie Su could not, as he was one of the prime suspects in the planet hunting grounds, and it would be impossible for him to appear here openly without causing embarrassment to the Hall People.

The Star-Eye Clan naturally could not attend either, as their presence would likely provoke a serious incident with the Hall People. Ye Zhongming himself also couldn't come without concealing his identity. However, he had plenty of means to hide himself and, to some extent, he was still one of the ‘protagonists’ of this auction, making his presence unavoidable.

Additionally, this was a capital event for the All Races of the Universe that hadn't happened in a long time, which meant many people and factions would come to join in the excitement, including the Dark Path.

This gathering of the Dark Path was being held here, on the night before the Tarros Red Dwarf auction, which was tonight.

After reuniting with Ye Zhongming, Zizikaba headed to Divine Artisan City, which was the Dwarves’ Royal City.

Su City had left a profound impact on Ye Zhongming. The extreme defense of that place made the King of Cloud Summit envious. He had once fantasized about transforming his own base into something like that, but after discussing it with Jie Su, he abandoned the idea.

Setting aside the intertwined ultimate defensive formations that were Su Clan's closely guarded secrets, even if he could arrange for the defenses in Ye Zhongming's base, it would take at least ten universes’ worth of time, and the consumption of Moon Age Gold would be astronomical. Jie Su wasn't too clear on specifics but provided a rough estimate, which made Ye Zhongming feel despair upon hearing it.

Moreover, having money wasn’t enough, as the materials required to set up the Su Clan's top-tier defenses were almost all rare treasures. Even with sufficient funds, gathering these materials would likely take at least ten to eight years.

However, here in Divine Artisan City, the name wasn’t the official title of the Tarros Red Dwarf Royal City; rather, it evolved because of the Dwarves' prowess in equipment manufacturing. Over the years, the Tarros Red Dwarfs had grown fond of this name and continued to use it.

Regardless of whether there were divine artisans in this city, there certainly were now.

Thus, the city was indeed living up to its name. Much like weapons and equipment, metal was the everlasting essence, and Divine Artisan City was thoroughly infused with a metallic style.

The entire city was artificially divided into three parts, and from a distance, it resembled a metallic mountain. The three parts represented three levels.

The lowest level was the largest in area, resembling a regular city, but at various positions throughout the city were either thick or thin metal pillars supporting the two upper structures. The thinner ones resembled arms and likely served other purposes rather than support, while the thicker ones were probably as large as a small residential area in an ordinary city. Walking around one of them would likely take over ten minutes.

These seemingly chaotic pillars contributed to the unique style of Divine Artisan City.

In the center of the city was the thickest metal mountain, which had a wide and sturdy road leading to the second level of the city, where massive metal machines frequently passed by.

In contrast to the scattered supports of the second level, the third level of the city was much more orderly, supported by twelve giant pillars protruding from the second level, forming an aerial city. Above was a complete metal fortress, topped with a massive irregular spherical structure resembling a beehive, occasionally flashing with light from within.
