Borui Az Fortress is a medium-sized city located in the No. 1 Survivor Fortress. Although its scale is not particularly large, its geographical position makes transportation convenient. Many races use it as a transfer point, leading to a flourishing commercial scene over time, turning it into a distribution center for various goods.
Within this commercially vibrant area, there is a street where various weaponry and equipment are sold in bulk. Due to the high volume of sales, the businesses there deal in wholesale, and each vendor has a large warehouse instead of a street-facing shop, which is why it is jokingly referred to as Warehouse Street.
Originally, it was already late in the day, and the noise of people was gradually fading away. Most of the warehouses had entered the inventory stage, with only a few remaining customers. Among them, the warehouse marked with the kk145 sign was brightly lit, and the doors were closed, indicating that someone inside was still selecting goods.
"Old Ke Ke, we've done business together more than once or twice, why are you still so unreliable?" A strong man accompanied by four guards glanced at the quotation list, looking displeased as he stared at the old man across from him.
Old Ke Ke was considered a well-known figure on Warehouse Street. He had spent nearly his entire life selling equipment here, essentially inheriting his father's business.
Although his shop was not the largest and his goods were not the highest quality, anyone who came to him could always find high-cost-performance items. Moreover, whether you were a large client purchasing hundreds or even thousands of items at once, or a smaller client buying just a few pieces, he treated everyone equally. As long as he could make a profit, he would offer you a very favorable price.
Over the years, while Ke Ke may not have earned the most money, he became the most well-liked and had many friends. Eventually, as long as it wasn't a large transaction, clients would directly transfer funds upon receiving a project and price list from him.
This was a testament to the trust they placed in him, a reward for his long-standing good reputation.
The middle-aged man was just like that; he had been purchasing equipment from Ke Ke for over a decade in cosmic years, and their cooperation had always been very pleasant. However, he felt a bit dissatisfied now because the items listed on the project form were significantly different from what he had anticipated.
Old Ke Ke squinted his eyes and said slowly, "This price is quite normal. What are you referring to?"
The middle-aged man put away the project form and straightforwardly stated, "Qihadu from the Jinweimen Clan has already told me that you have very cheap goods for sale here."
"I just got a shipment a few dozen cosmic years ago. If it weren't for a better cost-performance ratio, would I come all the way back here? It takes two days to travel back and forth!"
"It seems, Old Ke Ke, that you think I have taken too little from you, right?" The middle-aged man expressed his dissatisfaction while speaking.
Old Ke Ke instinctively glanced at the door; his two sons were still standing there, and the door was tightly closed. His wife and daughter were also at a table at the other end of the warehouse, watching the situation, which eased his mind a bit.
Although he wasn't a powerful being, fuleira was just over ten thousand, but his children were both very talented in cultivation. Their race had been exterminated, but he had still mastered the relevant abilities, passing them on to his sons and daughter. Now all three of them had surpassed five thousand in fuleira, and his most outstanding daughter had even reached seventy thousand; perhaps there was hope for her to break through to become a great master in her lifetime.
"Risks," Old Ke Ke said. "Since you know, I'll be honest with you. The goods are still available, but if you take them, you must not expose them for a short time. There must be an issue with this, but it's not for us to know. So I can provide the goods to you, but you must give me a guarantee!"
