Doomsday Roulette

Chapter 233: Assassination! 💥

Published: February 6, 2025

Meng Lin let out a low growl, an intense pleasure surged from his limbs to the top of his head, allowing him to once again experience the feeling of being in ecstasy.

Lying on the soft, smooth, and fair-skinned body of a woman, he breathed heavily for a moment before sitting up.

Inside the massive sleeping bag in the tent, three women lay sprawled out, all deeply asleep.

By many standards, Meng Lin was not a good person. He started living on the streets at fourteen and was sent to a juvenile detention center for robbery. After his release, he did not repent but instead intensified his criminal activities, frequently fighting and brawling, leading to several stints in and out of jail. It wasn't until he was twenty-three that he accidentally killed someone and was sentenced to life in prison, ending up in the notorious Ying City Prison.

He stayed there for twelve years, and this year, Meng Lin was thirty-five.

He had originally prepared to spend the rest of his days there, but who would have thought the apocalypse would arrive so suddenly?

As chaos reigned, so did disorder in the prison. The guards turned into zombies, those who were beaten to death were gone, and the infamous Desperate Outlaw Zhang Dalong became the new leader. Following this, there were battles, evolutions, and a thirst for revenge, and Meng Lin had followed along the way.

Now, he could be considered one of the notable figures in Ying City Prison, with over two hundred subordinates at his command, able to summon wind and rain, wielding power over life and death.

While the apocalypse seemed like hell to others, to Meng Lin, it felt like paradise.

Take the three women he had just brought to ecstasy as an example: one was a third-tier celebrity who had escaped from Ying City, another was a beautiful white-collar worker, and the last was rumored to be a wealthy heiress.

Before the apocalypse, such women could have done whatever they wanted with him, even refusing to comply was unthinkable, as they would strive to please him.

Unthinkable!

These three women wouldn't even look at him!

But now, they were all his!

Meng Lin had grown fond of the apocalypse; even if he were to die once the sun rose, he would still consider it worth it.

Stepping out of the tent, he gazed toward the faint light emerging on the horizon, signaling the dawn of a new day. Though he hadn’t slept all night and had engaged in physically exhausting activities, Meng Lin felt no fatigue. The thought of eliminating a newly emerged faction and acquiring precious food, all while impressing Black Dragon Brother, filled him with delight.

Listening to the chorus of snores rising from various tents, Meng Lin chuckled and cursed the bunch of idiots. He walked to a nearby tent, pulled out a bucket of water, and poured it over his head. The cool, pure liquid flowed down over his naked body, making him feel invigorated, as if he wanted to shout in delight.

Using clean, drinkable water without a care was one of his privileges.

He had heard from that useless Hu Zhao that there was a stunning internet celebrity at the Cloud Summit Villa Base, along with a charming young woman said to be incredibly alluring. He hoped that kid wasn’t lying to him; otherwise, he’d find someone to take care of him!

As he reveled in the sensation of water washing away sweat, Meng Lin heard faint footsteps approaching.

It must be one of the sentries seeing him and coming to greet him. These guys were tough in battle, but they knew how to flatter when it was peaceful.

Meng Lin intended to put the bucket down and see who it was.

But in an instant, every hair on his body stood on end, and a wave of killing intent enveloped him!

Over the past two months, Meng Lin had killed many people, not less than eighty, and he was extremely sensitive to this kind of killing aura, which he himself possessed.

Almost instinctively, Meng Lin loosened his grip, letting the bucket crash to the ground. He let out a fierce roar, swinging his right hand, which bore a white ring, towards the source of the killing intent.
