Big Yellow’s new beast gear restored its ability to fly for a short time. Upon hearing Ye Zhongming’s words, it immediately soared into the air, charging directly toward the nearest oasis.
Meanwhile, underground, a small but swift sandbag was also racing toward the same direction, matching Big Yellow's speed effortlessly.
The simultaneous actions of the two ninth-level lifeforms intensified the atmosphere. Bai Feng, Zhao Xingmei, and Shasha all gestured to their subordinates, ready to launch an attack as soon as they gained an advantage.
During its flight, countless metallic spheres formed around the emperor's pill, moving with its body.
Ye Zhongming quietly observed, while also sensing the environment around him.
In the Blue Secret Realm, top-level lifeforms needed to suppress their own strength; otherwise, it would lead to a rapidly collapsing space.
He had carefully sensed this on Earth and knew that such a situation wouldn’t occur. At least, with his strength fully unleashed, there shouldn’t be any issues.
Here, Ye Zhongming wanted to see if his full power would destabilize this space.
As his momentum rose and the energy within his body boiled, he didn’t feel anything unusual, which put his mind at ease.
Though he couldn’t be completely sure whether his actions would affect the space, at least it shouldn’t collapse.
Both Big Yellow and the nine treasures moved quickly. Since Ye Zhongming had instructed them to do so without hesitation, they crashed directly into the invisible boundary.
A massive collision sound echoed across the area, with just under a second’s difference between them.
After the collision, Big Yellow was bounced back ten meters before stabilizing itself. Shaking its head, it let out a tremendous roar toward the now visible, wave-like transparent boundary.
The nine treasures underground also encountered an obstruction, though it wasn’t thrown back as far as the emperor's pill.
Clearly, the boundary existed underground as well.
“Is it present both above and below ground?”
Ye Zhongming murmured to himself, then gave another command to Big Yellow and the nine treasures. The two top-tier battle beasts immediately responded; one continued to fly upwards while the other began to dive downwards. Both took turns attacking at intervals to test if the boundary still existed.
Ye Zhongming believed that this boundary, whatever it was, must have its limits—be it height or depth. It couldn’t be infinite, could it? So, as long as he could grasp this extent, there should be a way to break through.
However, minutes later, Ye Zhongming frowned.
Regardless of whether it was the continuously ascending emperor's pill or the diving nine treasures, the feedback was the same… the boundary still existed.
That posed a problem.
Ye Zhongming commanded Big Yellow and the nine treasures to give up and stop testing.
Reluctantly, the two battle beasts turned back.
Just as they were about to pivot, numerous lifeforms suddenly surged out from within the boundary of the oasis.
“They can still block detection…” Ye Zhongming squinted, glancing around before signaling Zhao Xingmei’s subordinates to enter combat mode. They would attack along the advance route the nine treasures had taken, while Bai Feng’s troops flanked from the sides, keeping an eye on the two oases behind to prevent them from launching a side attack.
The King of Cloud Summit’s personal presence excited the warriors of the three outer teams, each eager to perform well in front of this legendary figure.
Upon sensing life emerging from the boundary, the emperor's pill instantly turned around. It flapped the wings of its beast gear, slowly descending. As it landed, the first loyal beast of Cloud Summit spotted the lifeforms bursting forth from within the boundary.
These lifeforms divided into three groups. The front consisted of enormous parasitic creatures; as they charged, the ground trembled in response.
Behind them were numerous mutated lifeforms, their formation more scattered than that of the parasites, but clearly adjusting their direction, preparing for the impending battle.
