Xia Bai and the magic crystal clone of the red dress guard exploded into nothingness after a few seconds. Xia Bai's body swayed momentarily in the air before falling towards the ground. The red dress guard, having been transported high into the sky by the clone, dropped directly to the ground after its disappearance, completely disorganized, with many members piled on top of one another.
It was obvious that some of the red dress guard soldiers had gone completely still, leaving their status uncertain.
Yangos turned around swiftly, rushing towards the battlefield to catch the red dress guard's boss before Xia Bai hit the ground.
The Evil Dragon didn’t even glance back at the magic crystal whale and quickly withdrew from the battlefield.
As a high-level lifeform, it could sense that the energy fluctuations when the magic crystal whale used its abilities were rapid and intense, a level Yangos currently couldn’t match.
This was the difference.
When facing a lifeform stronger than itself, the Evil Dragon always felt cowardly. It had the courage to rescue Xia Bai and was willing to take the risk because it felt it was its duty. If it didn’t respond, it might face serious repercussions upon return. But to challenge the magic crystal whale, the Evil Dragon truly didn’t dare.
Unless it was a group fight.
However, the magic crystal whale, which the Evil Dragon hadn’t noticed, was currently suffering the most severe damage since the battle began.
Its massive body was at least one-tenth smaller, as it had been cut by an energy blade. Now, its blood dripped profusely from the wound, creating the appearance of heavy rain on the ground.
In addition to its body, the whale's head was also injured. At first glance, it seemed insignificant, but from Xia Bai’s perspective, one could see that the top of the whale's head had a deep indentation, even resembling a cavity.
The outer skin there had been completely broken, and the bone had shattered into nail-sized fragments. Blood and some unknown bodily fluid continuously seeped from within, forming a viscous liquid pit.
This might be the most serious injury the magic crystal whale had sustained since becoming a ninth-level lifeform!
Although the king of the sea did not fall straight down like Xia Bai, it swayed in the air for a long time before stabilizing.
However, the liquid inside the cavity of its head splashed onto the sea surface, and the intense pain caused the magic crystal whale to emit a low, suppressed roar.
Afterwards, it dived straight down, not aiming for the human lines but into the sea. Once submerged, it could be seen quickly moving along its line, creating massive waves on the surface.
Humans couldn’t engage the magic crystal whale in the water, nor could they cross the lines of the sea beasts, so they could only remain passive.
Little Tiger's cavalry team arrived quickly at the location of the red dress guard, starting to provide medical assistance. What worried him was that at least a dozen red dress guard soldiers were clearly lifeless, and even more battle beasts had perished. Many battle beasts chose to shield their masters from danger when their owners were in peril.
Even if casualties didn’t increase further, the loss of over a dozen red dress guard soldiers in one go was a rare and significant blow to Cloud Summit this year!
Many lights had already lit up on the red dress guard, as they had consumed quite a few potions themselves.
The main force of Little Tiger's cavalry bypassed the red dress guard to intercept sea beasts trying to take advantage of the situation, covering their teammates as they retreated to safety.
Approximately five minutes later, the magic crystal whale leapt back out of the water, charging towards the line between the two sides, its massive mouth wide open towards the humans.
The humans immediately took action, with the Loki Cross adjusting its angle, having completed its charging.
However, the magic crystal whale's next move shocked the humans.
The fierce beast, dragging its damaged body, began to spew out... sea beasts towards the humans.
