Human defensive measures shattered under the rays, and the ground began to tremble slightly. The resistance zone's attack simultaneously struck the sea beasts, bursting open many of their carapaces, and a light green liquid flew into the air, fueling the combat desires of both sides.

The resistance zone understood that this was their first shot, so they were extremely serious about it. One could say that the frontline team was putting in their all, and this small group of mutated crabs was soon overwhelmed within just a few minutes.

What the resistance zone desired was not just victory, but a resounding triumph—a complete annihilation of the enemy was their goal. They charged out from their defensive positions, chasing after the fleeing half-blue ray crabs.

The distance between the respective camps of humans and sea beasts appeared sufficiently far. However, in the apocalypse, the distance's significance depends on the relative strengths and the ranges of their abilities.

The resistance zone felt that this distance was enough for them to catch up and eliminate their opponents. Unfortunately, just as they engaged closely with the mutated crabs, the "Ankang Beast Corps" from the sea beast side launched an attack.

This type of sea beast was also a ranged unit, and their attacks were water-based. With their characteristic large mouths, they inhaled and then unleashed powerful water columns against the targets, hitting them as if they had been struck by a car, causing the resistance zone's warriors to be immediately halted, and even begin to retreat.
