Survivor Fortress No. 5 Star.
The All Races of the Universe are accustomed to calling this place Miki Star, as the entire Survivor Fortress is dedicated to a now-extinct creature known as the feathered deer, which serves as their totem.
People worshipped this once powerful existence in the universe, which was one of the few life forms capable of soaring through the starry skies like the slave race. However, they became extinct early on in their conflict with the slave race.
Yet, this does not hinder people's reverence towards it, especially on No. 5 Star. Regardless of whether they truly wish to or not, at least on the surface, they all hold an absolute faith in the feathered deer.
Of course, the reason for this situation is also largely due to the fact that the largest city on No. 5 Star is called Lingmi City, and this city belongs to a super clan, the musk ke people.
Bei Yin stood quietly on the mountainside of an artificial peak, gazing down at the vast yet orderly city. His eyes reflected many emotions, yet he seemed to merge completely with the surrounding environment.
The city below was Lingmi City, and he was the master of this city.
He didn’t know how long he had been standing there when he suddenly waved his hand towards the artificial peak behind him. A tremendous force immediately enveloped the mountain, and soon after, a phantom shadow of a feathered deer slowly emerged within this energy, its entire body shimmering with colors, its enormous form seeming to cover the entire city.
However, this astonishing phenomenon went unnoticed, as the energy shielded the phantom, allowing it to only fly and wander in the vicinity of the peak, releasing its energy.
This situation lasted for more than half an hour before gradually subsiding.
Bei Yin slowly withdrew that force, and the area near the peak returned to normal.
Moments later, a metallic door not far behind him opened, and a graceful figure stepped out from within.
“Father.”
Bei Yin turned around and saw his daughter Isabella, with a face capable of captivating anyone.
“Not bad.”
As a peak expert and the clan leader of a super clan, Bei Yin had many legends about him and was respected by many, but among his family, he was always simply Bei Yin, a name that had accompanied him since birth.
“Shorter than you anticipated, right?” Isabella smiled slightly, casually gesturing with her hands. Two beautiful, tiny phantom shadows of feathered deer appeared, having shrunk countless times compared to before.
Bei Yin glanced at them, and even he showed a look of astonishment.
“Shortened by two cosmic years,” Bei Yin replied to his daughter, then added, “It seems the fusion went well.”
Isabella nodded, “Although it’s not perfect, it far exceeded my expectations.”
After saying that, the father and daughter fell into a moment of silence.
“Still, I thought you would directly ask me if you still want Zimu to come over and marry you?” Bei Yin chuckled.
Isabella nodded, “I really wanted to ask, but then I thought about how you are the clan leader of the musk ke people, a person of prominence among the All Races of the Universe, so I decided to give you some face.”
“Of course, if you go back on your word, I will look down upon you.”
Upon hearing his daughter's words, Bei Yin grimaced slightly but didn’t respond.
Isabella moved beside her father, gazing at the city below, which was beginning to light up, and said softly, “I know the pressure you’re under, and I understand the awkward position of the musk ke people among the All Races of the Universe, as well as the aggressiveness of the Hall People.”
“In the past, no one in the clan could help you, or rather, their strength was insufficient to bear that responsibility. Despite your selflessness and full effort, no one was able to break through to the peak expert realm, and even those close to it were few.”
“So you were disappointed and had to consider other means to ensure our race's position in the universe.”
