The Council of All Races is a high-level parliamentary organization formed by the All Races of the Universe. Many people prefer to call this organization the Elder Council or the Discussion Pavilion.
Although the All Races of the Universe are divided into three major factions and reside in seven Survivor Fortresses that resemble planets, to some extent, they are united as an alliance, specifically an alliance against the Slave Clan.
Since it is an alliance, there must be an organization similar to the United Nations on Earth to coordinate and manage certain matters. Such an organization may not have absolute decision-making power, and often it serves more as a symbol. However, in specific situations, this organization can play a significant role.
Of course, more often than not, it is a tool for the super races to control the smaller ones. When it comes to matters involving super races, the biggest role of this organization is to create new ways to stall discussions, and it wouldn't be a problem for them to monopolize 30% of the hot searches in the universe during a cosmic year.
In short, this organization exists when you need it, and it is just a decoration when you don't.
Now, with Prince Delma of the Lena People deciding to report this matter to the Council of All Races, things suddenly became complicated.
Because at that point, there would be too many operable elements, and how to operate would depend on the results of the negotiations among various parties.
The Hall People were unwilling to see Delma because the outcome of the negotiations would inevitably be less favorable than their current agreement with the Su Clan. On the other hand, the Su Clan members were reluctant to see Delma as well, because once it went through the Council of All Races, the price they would have to pay would be much greater than what they had agreed upon.
But could they refuse now? Definitely not, because once Delma knew, he would not allow them to settle this matter privately. Even if they forcibly ended the matter, it would be meaningless, as the Lena People could raise the issue countless times.
Jie Su and Kunz座 exchanged glances; the two who had just been negotiating had understood each other’s meaning... this uninvited guest was too annoying.
At the same time, Jie Su felt furious about Elder Luo Zhi Su's unilateral decision.
He understood that the elder may have had good intentions, wanting to find a sufficiently powerful third-party force to intervene while there was still room for recovery, to maintain pressure on the Hall People.
However, such actions meant betrayal. A betrayal of Jie Su, a betrayal of his own promise, and even a betrayal of the Su Clan.
No matter what, the Su Clan was a super race, and in terms of reputation, it stood on equal ground with the Hall People. At a critical moment, having such a super race’s elder seeking help from an alien race and equating a matter that could pertain to life and death with public disclosure was, in itself, a betrayal!
Now that Prince Delma had arrived, there was no point in discussing things further, and Jie Su and Kunz座 almost simultaneously chose to maintain the status quo.
“Elder Huo Zhi cannot die; we will talk about it later,” Jie Su left a statement and returned to his camp after seeing Kunz座 nod in agreement.
Kunz座 glanced at Delma and then turned back to lead his team. He needed to clean up after today’s battle.
Indeed, although he currently had a deep animosity with the Su Clan, it did not mean he wanted to be taken advantage of by the Lena People. The account with the Su Clan could be settled gradually later, but he could not allow the Lena People to benefit from this situation.
For these two super races, their relationship was one of mutual depletion; if one side grew stronger, it meant the other side would weaken.
Prince Delma, seeing that both sides were not engaging with him, smiled as he watched them return to their camps. After whispering to the peak expert Kiersail Ting beside him, they parted ways, with Delma heading towards the Su Clan and Kiersail Ting going to the Hall People.
