Unknowingly increasing the difficulty, Three People and One Dragon were thrown into a place that wasn't among the swarms of parasites, but rather... inside a base.
Coincidentally, this was the camp of the Eight Heads in Dark Strip City.
Ye Zhongming and the others couldn't help but suspect that the mysterious entity could enter their minds and know everything about them.
Otherwise, how could it be such a coincidence that among the countless camps of the All Races of the Universe, they just happened to land here?
If any race had a stranger appear in their base, especially one that seemed to appear out of nowhere, they wouldn't believe that person meant well.
Landing in the camp of the Eight Heads, they wouldn't let you leave alive.
These races were gearing up to settle accounts with the Star Eye Clan, and now it seemed that they had delivered the core figure of that small race, the main force that attacked them, right to their doorstep. How could they let them leave alive?
So without waiting for Ye Zhongming and the others to speak, they just stood there for a brief moment of shock before the others charged in to kill them.
“Are we supposed to kill them all?”
Pao Bai said, feeling extremely frustrated as he ran with his companions.
Dealing with parasites, while dangerous, wasn't too complicated because those parasites rarely had bizarre abilities. It's not that they couldn't have them, but the ones with special abilities were usually very powerful individuals, and that mysterious entity hadn't given them that kind of 'intensity' for now.
But dealing with these people was different; not only were they numerous, with at least hundreds of thousands, but there were all kinds of abilities available—ranged, melee, energy, elemental, toxic, and non-toxic, and so on.
If they all attacked at once, they would likely be killed in seconds.
Thus, the few of them had no intention of fighting head-on. Upon being attacked, they directly ran away, which prompted Pao Bai to voice his doubts.
When it came to parasites, they needed to kill them all, but what about now? Did they also need to kill off all these members of the All Races of the Universe?
Not to mention whether they had the capability to do so, even if they did, what if the people here started to flee when they gained a decisive advantage? There were only four of them; how could they chase everyone?
“Probably not.” Ye Zhongming led a few people to the back of a tent, casually eliminating a small team of ten people that tried to intercept them from the side.
Given their strength, these races were not too threatening unless they were in overwhelming numbers.
As Ye Zhongming ran, he thought while sharing his speculations with the others.
“We probably only need to kill a certain proportion. Otherwise, if we can't catch someone, or if we catch someone but don't kill them, they could continue living outside and effectively escape the control of that mysterious entity.”
Jie Su and Pao Bai nodded, while the massive white dragon horse charged through and destroyed a tent, clearing a path for them.
“Also, I think we're quite lucky.”
Ye Zhongming’s comment left everyone puzzled. At that moment, a master from a certain race unleashed an ability, sending a barrage of metal blades raining down from the sky, striking down in a fan-shaped assault. A few of them tried to block it but ended up getting their gear slashed.
“Is this what you call luck?” Pao Bai said, raising his arm to show a gash from the cut gear.
Ye Zhongming chuckled as he guided everyone in their escape direction.
“That powerful and mysterious entity never said we couldn't seek help. The reason we didn't ask before was because we had no one to ask. Remember how well it went when we encountered the Mechanical Genius? This time, we can also find help, and we would gain freedom points for it. If we gather enough for the white dragon horse, I won't even need to relay it to Fuleira. Isn’t that what good luck is?”
