Jie Su immediately hugged Pao Bai and ran into the nearby bushes, the same ones they had used to ambush Zimu earlier.
Inside, Jie Su found a small box. He opened it to discover a pill of unknown origin and without hesitation, stuffed it into Pao Bai's mouth.
Jie Su was worried that if he delayed, his friend would die. Even now, under severe injury and poisoning, Pao Bai's body was starting to stiffen, and his temperature was frighteningly low.
He didn't understand how Pao Bai managed to survive Zimu's self-destructive technique, but he knew he couldn't let his brother die in his arms.
Fortunately, this unknown drug was indeed powerful. After Pao Bai swallowed it, his condition began to improve. Although he was still unconscious, at least his body became noticeably softer and warmer.
The white dragon horse flew over and hovered beside Jie Su.
