Ye Zhongming ignored the astonished expressions of his subordinates and began to arrange what everyone should do next.
The ten thousand roc sand bat was a rare type of large monster. It wasn't necessarily filled with treasures, but its value was definitely not inferior to the twin-tailed kuroiwa obtained in the last hunt, and it might even be much more expensive.
This large monster wasn't particularly tall, probably only about one and a half meters, but it was extremely broad, with a size equivalent to four standard football fields when fully grown.
So it looked like a black carpet.
This life form was referred to as a super life form, not because of its combat power reaching the level of world destruction; if that were the case, Ye Zhongming wouldn't dare to provoke it. Rather, it was because it was very difficult to kill, and its method of evolution was quite unique.
It fought in mainly three ways. One was to rely on its massive and highly defensive body to directly cover the target, using the almost omnipresent large suckers beneath its body to absorb the target's life force. With such a large body, its weight was unimaginable; once pinned down by it, turning over would be nearly impossible.
The second method involved the tentacles that grew on its back. These tentacles usually didn't have much use and were less effective than the remaining suckers, which could absorb the planet's original energy. However, the tentacles would only come into play during combat.
The parts connecting the tentacles to the body were soft all the way to the top, with only the tips being sharp and hard.
The final method was the twelve heads of the ten thousand roc sand bat, each capable of spraying a transparent liquid from its mouth. Any life that came into contact would quickly lose its strength and turn into a puddle of mush, making it very easy for the ten thousand roc sand bat to resolve the situation using either tentacles or suckers.
However, this transparent liquid was extremely precious and rarely used unless absolutely necessary.
Killing it was genuinely difficult, as this creature had no obvious weaknesses. With its massive body, twelve heads, and twelve hearts, to completely take it down, all of these had to be eliminated. Moreover, despite its large size, it had tough skin and thick flesh; even if a large chunk of meat was cut off, it wouldn't matter much to it at all.
The fact that it was so hard to kill and had area-wide attacks made many feel that sending only three thousand people to deal with it was a bit overconfident.
However, since Ye Zhongming had led everyone to perform excellently before, no one voiced any objections and instead listened attentively to his explanations.
Sometimes, turning the impossible into reality can also be a motivation worth striving for.
"Alright, that's it. Does everyone understand?"
After finishing, Ye Zhongming asked the surrounding warriors.
Everyone responded that they understood. After hearing everything, they had transformed from being uncertain into being filled with confidence.
"We not only need to win but also to achieve a victory without casualties!"
Ye Zhongming surveyed everyone and said, "Let's get started."
With his words, four warriors from the Star-Eye Clan immediately charged down from the dune, each holding a machine, quickly moving over the sand while continuously monitoring their devices.
After running for about less than a kilometer, one person stopped, standing there signaling back, while the other three continued to run, gradually distancing themselves from the first person and forming a large square.
Ye Zhongming knew that this was likely where the ten thousand roc sand bat was hiding beneath the sand.
He made a hand gesture for them to begin. At the same time, some people ran to the open space between the dune and those four individuals, seemingly sprinkling something on the ground.
The few Star-Eye Clan warriors pulled out some items from the space equipment given by Ye Zhongming and assembled them on the spot. Moments later, four strange machines, more than two meters tall, stood on the blue sand.
