Chapter 2123: "Subdivisions" 🏗️

Published: February 12, 2025

When the meeting ended, Ye Zhongming's proposal had been passed.

Even though the clan leaders were reluctant, reality forced them to nod in agreement; otherwise, they might find themselves pushed out. Many small clans, like the Ouf Clan, readily accepted this condition.

Since they were not a united front, everything became easier. Ye Zhongming's proposal would be implemented immediately. However, before that, all clans needed to submit detailed information on every warrior.

This was unavoidable. Since they agreed to comply with the distribution and participate in group combat, the more fitting the characteristics, the greater the combat power they could unleash, leading to more gains and safer members. Therefore, there was no concealment of the information regarding their warriors, and everyone submitted it within a few hours, allowing the Star-Eye Clan to make adjustments.

The two leaders of the Star-Eye Clan also stepped forward at the end to assure everyone that they would fairly and justly allocate the groups, and the subsequent combat plans would reflect this. They mentioned that everyone would be interdependent in Dark Strip City, and the Star-Eye Clan would not act like the Eight Heads.

Thus, everyone felt relieved. This was a fact; although the recent incident involving the Radiant Tang Clan's extermination had not escalated into further conflict due to the commencement of the planet hunting grounds, everyone knew another storm was brewing once they returned. If the Alliance of Small Races did not help, the Star-Eye Clan would surely be unable to stand alone.

So, they wouldn't harbor any ill thoughts towards the Alliance of Small Races at this moment.

As for the adjustment of defense zones, everyone decided to vacate the Half Abyss Demon Cave currently occupied by the Star-Eye Clan, assigning only some troops for defense, while the main force would concentrate on the side of the Falling River Impact Plain.

Once the decision was made, they also informed the Su Clan. The array clan had no objections, simply advising them to guard their defense zones carefully and avoid any accidents.

Thus, the mobilization began immediately. In fact, only half of the Star-Eye Clan’s manpower, around ten thousand warriors, was transferred to the Falling River Impact Plain side. The Half Abyss Demon Cave remained under the defense of the Star-Eye Clan and would also serve as a logistics base for the other side. Supplies and injured personnel would be concentrated here.

The Alliance of Small Races naturally welcomed this arrangement. They understood that the Star-Eye Clan had limited warriors, and reallocating half of them to support their side would significantly enhance their defense. Although they hadn’t witnessed the strength of the Star-Eye warriors firsthand, their ability to annihilate the Radiant Tang Clan under a surprise attack indicated that their fighting power was formidable when given the opportunity.

However, on the Falling River Impact Plain side, Ye Zhongming did not set up any formations.

The allocation of troops did not take long, but dividing the various clans into small teams took quite a bit of time. It wasn’t until the next day that the Star-Eye Clan presented a formal document and a detailed allocation plan.

The small clans looked at the final allocation list, wanting to say something but finding themselves at a loss for words.

The allocation made by the Star-Eye Clan was to form small teams of thirty, including five defensive warriors, six assault warriors, six ranged warriors, six spell warriors, five support warriors, and two logistics warriors.

This composition was for hunting expeditions. When it came to defending the Layered Water Desolation, the logistics warriors and the medical warriors among the support warriors would be placed under unified logistics management.

The warriors of the Star-Eye Clan belonged to the support warrior category.

Ten small teams made a large team, ten large teams made a total unit, and ten total units made an army. The entire Dark Strip City, including the Star-Eye Clan, was divided into four armies.
