Chapter 2115: Twists and Turns (Part 2) 🌪️

“Your Highness, a battle has broken out in the Layered Water Desolation, and the situation is not looking good.”

A being stood atop a massive rock, watching below as the tribe members hurriedly and orderly went about their tasks. Upon hearing this, their eyes briefly scanned the area beneath the rock.

“Seems the Hall People are just lucky.”

The being scoffed and, without any visible movement, descended to the ground.

“Your Highness, our relationship with the Su Clan… seems to be quite good. Since we already know where the Su Clan will land, why are we still planning to… attack?”

The subordinate hesitated to voice this question. Logically, this wasn’t something he should be asking; they would usually wait and observe to get answers. However, he felt compelled to ask now because they would be staying here for fifty more days, and the distance to the Layered Water Desolation was not too far. If their tribe really intended to act against the Su Clan, they needed to prepare early; otherwise, it would be too late.

Although the Lena People did not value the harvest from the planet hunting grounds as much as other races, it was still a significant source of income. This subordinate needed to know the specific arrangements ahead of time to properly allocate forces.

“We originally planned to annoy the Hall People, ensuring their hunting expedition ends in disaster. At the very least, we want them to gain little from it. If this can hinder their marriage alliance with Musk Ke Star, even better.”

Upon hearing this, the subordinate understood, realizing that the tribe did not wish to see two super clans genuinely team up.

“As for the Su Clan…” The being elongated their tone, then chuckled, “Their relationship with us is good, but only just good. We’ve put in a lot of effort for our plans, why should we waste it? Since they've coincidentally ended up there, they should bear the consequences. If they can survive, that’s their fortune; if not, that’s their fate. What does it have to do with us? From another perspective, if the Su Clan destroys those one hundred thousand, they will only sustain injuries; most of their strength will remain.”

Hearing the words of their Highness, the subordinate knew what to do. They bowed and slowly retreated, leaving only the Highness staring at the bustling construction scene, lost in thought.

……………………………………

“Has that kid gone mad?” Elder Chongken Su's expression changed slightly; he found Ye Zhongming’s proposal to be too risky.

Without completely driving the mutated beings out of the Layered Water Desolation, they were forcibly beginning to set up the Armor Pressure Sky Cover. Especially since two of the pillars were very close to the ongoing chaotic battle, making them susceptible to attack. If damaged, the materials were irreplaceable, and one of their primary tools for this planet hunting expedition would be rendered useless. It was easy to imagine that over the next fifty days, they would be embroiled in a bitter struggle.

“Our personnel are somewhat tied up due to the formation setup. Even if we want to continue supporting them, we don’t have many people to spare. The Star-Eye Clan is likely in a similar situation. If we don’t make any responses, are we to let this chaos continue? Both sides of our defenses have begun to feel the stirrings of mutated beings. We can’t tell when a battle might erupt. If we are attacked on three fronts, and one side is unable to hold, things will become irreversible.”

Huo Zhi spoke very earnestly, “Taking risks now is better than facing immediate defeat, right?”

He was the highest commander of the Su Clan's current endeavor. Although there were checks from the other two elders, if Chongken Su still disagreed at this point, Huo Zhi would have to use his authority to enforce the orders.

Upon hearing this, the other two elders exchanged glances at the situation displayed on the light barrier, ultimately agreeing.
