Chapter 2113: "Twists and Turns (Part 1) 🔄"

“Sometimes it's hard to imagine that our Star-Eye Clan can stand alone,” Pao Bai said to Ye Zhongming, looking at the rapidly passing scenery outside and hearing the sounds of various energy attacks.

The Su Clan's landing plan was quite straightforward. After the Su Clan warships escorted everyone into the atmosphere and above the Layered Water Desolation, they immediately implemented the landing operation.

The operational plan was simple: the Su Clan was responsible for two directions, the Star-Eye Clan for one direction, while the other small race alliances from Dark Strip City were in charge of the last direction.

From a numerical standpoint, this distribution was reasonable. The number of warriors from the Su Clan and the Alliance of Small Races was roughly equal, so it was fair for each to be responsible for two directions.

However, in terms of strength, the small race alliances were clearly lacking, as they were more suited for defending a single direction.

If it were other races, they would likely do the same, as this was not the time to consider casualties or preserving strength. If the landing did not go smoothly, it could attract the attacks of the native lifeforms from surrounding planets, leading to failure in the landing.

In such a scenario, they would only be able to hover in the air, seeking a second landing opportunity, which would undoubtedly be extremely difficult.

If multiple landings failed, they would have to apply to relocate, but the areas chosen at that time would mostly be barren lands. Even if there was some gain, it would not be much, likely unable to compensate for the losses from the previous failed landing.

Unfortunately, the Star-Eye Clan and the Alliance of Small Races were collaborating with the Su Clan. Among their hundred thousand warriors, although most had combat talents, they still lacked in direct combat capability. Thus, successfully landing with minimal losses while only being responsible for two directions was already their maximum limit.

Of course, the combat abilities of the warriors from the Star-Eye Clan and the other small race alliances were not particularly outstanding either, but given the current situation, there was no other choice.

Fortunately, the two sections the Su Clan was responsible for were the most difficult and dangerous: the eastern entrance near the Blue Demon Desert and the southern entrance at the Silent Rainforest. There were plenty of prey near these two entrances in the Layered Water Desolation.

The small race alliances from Dark Strip City were responsible for the western side of the Lianghe Shock Plain, which also had many monsters, some quite powerful, although they were slightly outnumbered compared to the southeastern sides.

The easiest task fell to the Star-Eye Clan, as they were responsible for the northern Half Abyss Demon Cave, where for some reason, there were not many lifeforms. However, with only about twenty thousand warriors, they would also face a tough battle.

This was also the reason why Pao Bai said that the Star-Eye Clan could stand alone. It is known that the position for the landing operation not only represents a battle but also the location of each camp. In other words, this area is a defense zone, and although the final rewards would be evenly distributed, each defense zone could directly take twenty percent of the profits.

“If we were to separate the warriors of each race, it would be highly unreasonable, and no one would agree. Therefore, this is the only way to distribute it. Fortunately, it seems our opposing side is not too numerous,” Lord Xing said, watching the data flashing across the terminal.

“When we drop, the Gold Camp will be the first to attack, followed by the Silver Camp, and finally the Bronze Camp. The chief's guard and other experts from the clan are ready to engage those powerful beings. For now, don't transform,” Lord Yan stated.

This did not come from any underestimation of the Bronze Camp, but although their strength had improved tremendously under Ye Zhongming's training during this time, the duration was still short, and they had not formed a large-scale qualitative change. It was not just the Bronze Camp; even the Silver Camp could only assist in battles of this level. The true main forces were still the Gold Camp and the chief's guard.
