CHAPTER TEXT:
The number of battle beasts in Cloud Summit greatly increased after the merger with Ten Thousand Beast Manor.
The current villa cultivates battle beasts not only through various means from Cloud Summit itself, like different species and herbal feed obtained from Blue Secret Realm, and Storm Glaze, but also an established agricultural system that provides various guarantees for the rearing of battle beasts.
With the addition of Ten Thousand Beast Manor, there are more rearing methods, more professional breeders, and breeding laboratories, as well as numerous beast pool equipment from large to small.
The combination of both parties has brought about significant advancements in manpower, financial resources, systems, and technology, resulting in substantial progress in both the scale and quality of Cloud Summit’s battle beasts.
This enhancement is reflected not only in the ground forces of the battle beast camp but also in the air force.
Today's Cloud Summit air force is divided into three parts. The first part is the reconnaissance division, which includes various swift and agile small flying creatures and flying machines; the Jingjue Floating Sphere now belongs to the Cloud Summit air force.
The second part is the transportation division, which includes flying machines and flying battle beasts for transport purposes. In addition to Jingjue Floating Sphere, there are now many flying machines in Cloud Summit, most of which are based on roulette technology. These devices, which were frequently attacked in the early years of the apocalypse, have surprisingly become much safer lately. This rapid expansion of the transport flying division was crucial in Cloud Summit's ability to quickly capture vast territories in the national area, as these transportation tools can quickly mobilize troops. After all, teleportation equipment also consumes resources, and frequent use can strain Cloud Summit’s finances.
Furthermore, the giant “big birds” that appeared on the battlefield in Plum City—massive creatures with little combat power but immense strength to carry numerous supplies or life forms—are also the main force of the transportation division.
Lastly, there’s the combat division. In the apocalypse, combat is of utmost importance, and even though Cloud Summit has been very careful about balanced development, the combat division remains the backbone and main part of the Cloud Summit air force.
The air force's combat division is further divided into two sections: one is composed purely of combat-type flying creatures, and the other consists of aerial knights controlled by humans.
Regardless of which part it is, various flying creatures gather together, forming their own suitable combat methods with their unique characteristics, creating a complete Cloud Summit air force.
When you sum up the mechanics and life forms from all three parts, the current Cloud Summit air force is one of the largest battle teams, with numbers exceeding five hundred thousand.
Of course, over half of them belong to the reconnaissance and transportation divisions.
However, the air force that has come to assist doesn’t fall short in numbers compared to the flying parasites, including a contingent of fifty thousand aerial knights whose overall combat power is stronger than that of the purely flying creatures. This combat power refers to comprehensive battle strength, not just individual capabilities.
Sometimes, one plus one doesn’t necessarily yield more than two; the strength of knights and flying battle beasts only adds up, and sometimes, it may not even be additive. But the reason aerial knights can become aerial knights is that they can control battle beasts. Under human command, battle beasts can obey orders, understand battle tactics, know when to advance or retreat, and unleash collective power. Therefore, they are the strongest in group combat situations.
At this moment, Xia Lei was trapped in that bizarre space, and the air force was the first to arrive. They didn’t stop at all—whoever stood in front would be their enemy.
