Wu Qian had no choice but to shout. He felt that if he didn't, his life would come to an end.
Well, okay, although it might come to an end now anyway.
What entered his eyes was a scene of devastation.
The food and such were not too bad; they had just been turned over. But everything else—weapons, equipment, tools, traps, repair materials, and so on—was all in a mess.
Many items were damaged, and quite a few had taken on strange shapes. Wu Qian even saw a huge mass of... scrap metal.
That was formed from who knew how many broken pieces of equipment melted together.
He didn't have time to count the losses, but being extremely familiar with the warehouse, he just took a glance and knew that at least forty percent of the supplies and equipment had been damaged.
This was supposed to be the Bronze Camp's reserve for more than an entire year in the universe!
The food was manageable, as it would basically be replenished in batches every few days, and what was ruined wasn’t too much.
But what about these weapons and equipment... how were they going to survive the next universe year?
Ye Zhongming didn’t pay attention to Wu Qian’s despairing cries. He was a bit tired, but his condition was good.
After a whole night of research, Ye Zhongming had a much clearer understanding of the weapon and equipment systems of the All Races of the Universe.
He chose the Bronze Camp’s warehouse because all the weapons and equipment here were relatively low-level, allowing Ye Zhongming to learn and study from the basic models. Then he could dismantle those he purchased with points, which wouldn’t be a waste.
As for the equipment in the Bronze Camp that he had damaged, he didn’t take it seriously; he had many ways to compensate.
……………………
A complaint was filed, bringing Ye Zhongming to the attention of the two clan leaders of the Star-Eye Clan.
Wu Qian truly dared not conceal this.
Although the clan had a quick adjustment frequency for various materials, items such as some equipment and repair materials still required stockpiles. Their consumption was significant; after all, one couldn’t train without wearing anything, that would be deadly.
Now, suddenly losing so many items and leaving such a big hole, if Wu Qian didn’t report it, he would be held responsible.
Even if it meant offending Ye Zhongming, he had no choice; he couldn't bear it.
Wu Qian chose the right moment to inform the clan's high-ranking officials, just as the two clan leaders and a few others were discussing matters.
Pulling up this video complaint from his terminal, Lord Yan smiled and sent it to a few others. Upon seeing it, the majority of people not only felt no anger but instead showed smiles.
“This guy really knows how to stir things up,”
As an absolute confidant of the two clan leaders, Commander Cheng Liujin was naturally present. Seeing Wu Qian's report on the whole matter, he chuckled and remarked, “First, he killed someone when he took office, then he created an Assault Camp, and now he’s made a mess of the military supply warehouse. It really fits his character.”
Jikesu understood better than anyone why Ye Zhongming was doing this; this guy was too impatient to wait for himself to organize his knowledge. He wanted to take the lead, to practice and gain true knowledge—he was just trying things out.
“Shouldn’t we give him a warning? Let him settle down a bit?”
The one speaking was Bashiru, the training commander, who was as sturdy as a mountain and had a bony neck. Among the clan’s high-ups, he was the only one who had not interacted with Ye Zhongming.
Lord Xing shook his head, “Don’t restrict him; that would only hinder him. Commander Qing Tong is merely researching equipment. Don’t worry, he will give us a surprise.”
After saying that, Lord Xing looked at Cheng Liujin.
“Recently, this kid's movements won’t be few. Keep an eye on him, but let everything proceed smoothly.”
“Everything?”
Cheng Liujin asked.
“Everything,” Lord Xing replied firmly, “Even if he declares war on Lena Planet or Hall Planet, let him be.”
