Doomsday Roulette

Chapter 1859: Brutal Beginning (Part 2) 💔

In the tent, more than ten pieces of equipment emitting a purple glow were placed on display.

Indeed, in the realm of the All Races of the Universe, purple equipment was no longer the best available aside from rainbow equipment. However, apart from a few large clans, most smaller clans did not have much purple gear to offer in terms of beginner equipment. Even within the All Races of the Universe, these items were not common.

During his time on Earth, it was not a secret that Ye Zhongming could manufacture purple gear. Ji Rui Guang knew that Commander Mu had at least two pieces of purple gear crafted by Ye Zhongming. There was even a rumor circulating in the national district that the red dress guard would become an all-purple gear unit in a year, dominating the world without rivals.

Initially, Ji Rui Guang scoffed at such rumors. Even if Ye Zhongming could create purple gear, a success rate of one in ten would be impressive. To arm the hundreds of members in the red dress guard, he would need to manufacture at least three thousand pieces. How long would that take? Moreover, the materials alone would be enough to bankrupt Cloud Summit.

However, upon seeing these purple items now, he found himself somewhat convinced.

Ye Zhongming, on the other hand, felt no joy.

These purple items were merely for show.

They indeed exuded a purple glow in his hands, but in reality, these items only achieved the purple level in terms of defense or attack power. They lacked additional skills; perhaps there were some special effects, but that couldn’t make up for the absence of matured skills.

Compared to the equipment created by the All Races of the Universe, they were clearly inferior.

Ye Zhongming thought that once he got outside, he must find a way to understand the manufacturing methods of the All Races of the Universe.

According to their prior agreement, Ye Zhongming provided Ji Rui Guang with six pieces of purple equipment and twenty other items roughly at the golden level. Additionally, he supplied fifty healing potions.

For this, Ji Rui Guang paid six hundred points.

This was at least two hundred points cheaper than the market price.

Holding these items and a list, Ji Rui Guang nodded to Ye Zhongming and left.

No sooner had he stepped out than Husky walked in.

“Captain, we found three people.”

Husky had actually returned long ago, but he kept his distance seeing Ji Rui Guang was present, only coming back after Ji Rui Guang had left.

“Three people: a powerful shield warrior from the Peak Clan, a shooter from the Six-Eyed Tribe, and a halo warrior from the Magnetic Advancement Tribe.”

Ye Zhongming mentally reviewed these three names and got a general idea.

The Peak Clan is a well-known race that produces melee warriors, with axe warriors and shield warriors being the most famous offensive and defensive categories. Their innate talent allows members of this clan to wield the same weapon with astonishing power.

The shooter from the Six-Eyed Tribe isn’t as renowned as the warriors from the Peak Clan; they are merely one of the archery-focused races, using bows and arrows, and are showing signs of decline.

Ye Zhongming was quite surprised that Husky managed to recruit a halo warrior from the Magnetic Advancement Tribe, known as one of the most famous support races in the universe. Not only do they possess decent combat ability, but they are also skilled at releasing various halo techniques with additional abilities, granting temporary powers to those affected.

Such warriors would typically choose stronger squads; why would they join a team with fewer than ten members?

As Husky introduced the three newcomers, Ye Zhongming saw that the Peak Clan shield warrior was indeed robust. Compared to him, the King of Cloud Summit looked like a slender woman at 1.6 meters standing next to O'Neal. The shield warrior was bald, had big eyes, and was clad in heavy armor, holding a shield almost as tall and wide as himself. Just dropping it on the ground would create two dents.
