Doomsday Roulette

Chapter 1847: Once Again Collision (Middle) 🌌

Yangtua did not know who these people were, but Husky did. He had encountered them before; although there had been some conflict in the black mist created by Ye Zhongming, it was accidental. Considering they shared a common enemy and were both Earthlings, Amus had not made things difficult for him.

Now the situation was different. Husky stood together with Ye Zhongming, which meant these people were now enemies.

That mechanical speedboat, whose origin was unknown, was extremely fast. Husky could tell with just one glance that he could not match its swimming speed.

This meant he could no longer notify Ye Zhongming and the others.

Husky knew that he had to make a choice now.

He suddenly raised his hand and waved towards the speedboat while shouting out loud a couple of phrases.

“Don’t say anything, just follow me.”

When the speedboat spotted them and quickly approached, Yangtua heard Husky's low reminder.

“Is it you?”

Amus narrowed her beautiful eyes slightly.

“Is it strange?” Husky asked, stepping through the seawater while looking up at the woman, “Aren’t you here too?”

“I just didn’t expect you to have the ability to find this place.”

Husky smiled, but in his heart, he was already cursing Amus’s ancestors.

This woman, you’ve really killed the mood.

“Sometimes, hatred can significantly enhance a person's potential. Of course, points have the same effect.”

One had to admit, Husky was indeed eloquent; in this regard, Amus appeared to be like an elementary school student in front of him.

Sure enough, whether it was Amus or Hawkins, upon hearing Husky say that, their previously vigilant expressions softened significantly.

After all, being fellow Earthlings and having a common enemy did create a sense of closeness psychologically.

“Your group seems to have more people than last time,” Husky said with a bitter smile, his eyes revealing clear envy and reluctance.

Amus looked at him without speaking, and after a while, she said, “Wait a moment.”

Then, she turned back to whisper to the people behind her for a bit. Their voices were extremely low; even though Husky was right next to the speedboat, he couldn't hear clearly, only catching snippets that seemed like they were discussing how to treat him.

Yangtua felt a bit nervous.

Right now, there were only him and Husky, but on the opposite speedboat, there were six people, and it looked like Hawkins and Amus were both strong. Once they made a move, the two of them wouldn't be able to stop them.

They couldn't run or fight, so all they could do was wait.

For people at their level, this feeling of waiting for fate's judgment was too terrible.

“Do you know where Ye Zhongming is now?” The people on the speedboat seemed to have reached a conclusion, as Amus returned to the bow and asked Husky, who was in the water.

“Of course, he is in this sea area. You should know that too, otherwise, how would you have come here?” Husky asked suspiciously.

Amus coughed lightly, feeling a bit embarrassed, and then said, “What else do you know?”

Husky suddenly fell silent, which made Yangtua a bit nervous, thinking, Brother, you were so full of drama just now, how come you’re not speaking now?

“I do know some information, and it's quite detailed, but I can’t think of a reason to tell you.”

Husky’s reply made Yangtua break into a cold sweat.

Brother, they have the upper hand now. Aren't you afraid of being coerced when you speak to them like this? Okay, I admit I'm quite a team player, but if they get angry, my stance isn't that firm!

“Angry?” Husky shrugged, “I’m just speaking the truth. What do I gain by telling you? Are you going to help me kill Ye Zhongming? No, no, no. Although I came here for revenge, it doesn’t mean I have to take revenge. My grudges with him… Sorry, lady, I must be frank, but it's not as intense as yours.”

As he spoke, Husky glanced at the child’s corpse in Amus's arms.

A flash of anger appeared in Amus's eyes, but Hawkins patted her shoulder.
