In the Star-Eye Clan's spacecraft, Aslan looked at the rapidly fluctuating numbers on the race leaderboard and raised her fist in excitement.
She couldn't help but feel happy, no matter from which perspective she viewed it.
The first point was that Shikangbu and Ye Zhongming had united with Jie Kui, meaning that aside from Bularno, the warriors trained by the Star-Eye Clan had finally come together.
For other races, this wouldn't matter much; anyone who dared to fight alone would likely be killed by their own. But for the Star-Eye Clan, the constraints on commissioned warriors were not as strong.
Aslan had been saddened by Bularno's death; regardless of whether Shikangbu and Bularno obeyed commands, their points in this novice battlefield would count towards the Star-Eye Clan's score as long as they were alive.
However, death meant an end, and the Star-Eye Clan's overall ranking dropped significantly at that moment.
The second point was that with Bularno dead, if Shikangbu continued to act alone, he too would eventually die. Now that he had joined forces with Ye Zhongming and Jie Kui, it wasn't just about surviving a little longer, but about the combined strength of the Star-Eye Clan, which might unleash even greater power.
In fact, it seemed to be proving that point. After the first day of the second cycle, Ye Zhongming's rank reached an impressive six hundred twelve, with a score of three hundred thirty-three points. Jie Kui also successfully entered the top one thousand, with two hundred thirty points, while Shikangbu's score was relatively low, just over one hundred, placing him poorly.
Yet, the Star-Eye Clan's total score approached seven hundred, ranking them in the top four hundred.
It was noteworthy that in the previous cycle, the Star-Eye Clan's highest rank was only in the seven hundreds.
"At this rate, it's very likely that we can enter the top three hundred by the end of this cycle!"
While this ranking wouldn't allow the Star-Eye Clan to achieve 'redemption' without being eliminated, the hope of entering the top fifty had greatly increased! Eventually, as Ye Zhongming and the others grew stronger, this wasn't just a wishful thought; it was a realistic expectation.

Aslan adjusted the previous surveillance footage, allowing Hawkins and the others to officially appear in the eyes of everyone aboard the spacecraft for the first time.
"In the Foggy Death Rainforest, they are there. Ye Zhongming went to the Sea of Ten Thousand Isles, and they did too. Now, as the second cycle starts, they are still in the same area as Ye Zhongming, Jie Kui, and Shikangbu."
