On the first day of the novice battlefield, it ended amidst continuous killings.
However, for the entire ordeal, this was just the beginning.
Yaka withdrew her long knife from the corpse of a parasite, watching her points increase a bit more, and she grinned with delight.
Sure enough, not pursuing that damned fellow anymore made the feeling of gaining points so wonderful.
The few of them advanced in a way that kept some distance—not too far, nor too close—so they could stay in touch, quickly support each other in danger, and hunt independently along their respective paths.
When they encountered life forms on the list, they would join forces to kill, while the rest would go to each of them.

Yaka suddenly turned around and saw Wade walking over.
“What’s wrong? Why aren’t you staying in your area and running over here?”
Among the group, Hawkins and Amus were walking on the left side, the yinming star field people in the middle, while Wade and Yaka were on the right side, moving forward.
“We haven’t chased Ye Zhongming for a few hours, right?”

“Of course not! I even hope he’s right behind us.” Wade snorted, then looked at his companion and said, “But I feel like he’s not behind us.”
“I think so too. He’s injured and his combat ability has sharply dropped. He used a lot of bloodline and skills in the previous fights, which are powerful but probably have a long cooldown period. “I want to say, there’s another possibility.” Wade’s expression held something Yaka couldn’t quite put her finger on. “Ye Zhongming doesn’t dare to chase us, at least for now. If he’s smart enough, he should realize that we are actually a trap waiting for him to take the bait.”
“In this situation, if he really wants to kill us like Hawkins said, he would definitely choose one person as a target. Who do you think he would choose?”
Yaka paused for a moment. “Didn’t you just say that we are a trap…”
As she spoke halfway, realization dawned upon her, and surprise flickered in her eyes. “You mean, the target he chooses won’t be us, but…”
“Exactly! It’s Kumar!”
Wade affirmed. “If we can think of it, as the King of Cloud Summit, how could Ye Zhongming not? He would know that our best chance is during the teleportation phase of the second small cycle starting. He must be figuring out how to break this, and the best and most direct way is to make sure we’re all dead before then. If he can’t do that, what’s the most advantageous move?”
