Gray undead energy spheres collided with an energy net, creating a scene that inspired terror.
Both sides seemed to pulse with unstable electricity, yet there was no sound — only the extreme brightness followed by utter darkness.
They hovered in the air, visually serene, but everyone knew that an intense battle was underway.
After consuming restorative potions, Liang Chuyin and her subordinates felt much better, with everyone fixated on the ongoing conflict.
The energy net was their ultimate attack — the Net of Sighs — made possible by their team book.
While their team book wasn’t as high-level as that of the red dress guard, it was still quite impressive, not only enhancing weapon power while fighting near each other but also partially sharing damage. More importantly, it allowed them to unleash the powerful ability of the Net of Sighs.
As Liang Chuyin and her subordinates increased their evolution levels, the effectiveness of the Net of Sighs became stronger, and when they exerted their full power, it would make Yangos wary in Cloud Summit.
Even Ye Zhongming from nine-star would have to exert considerable effort to deal with it.

But before she could move, the shield warriors stepped up to meet the challenge.
They were meant to be the second line of defense.
These burly Cloud Summit warriors were all martial-type evolvers, clad in the most durable battle armor among ordinary evolvers, wielding shields that seemed capable of withstanding anything.
They were the defenders, and every core team had their presence; now, these were all from Liang Chuyin and Guangyao's forces.
With shouts, they positioned themselves between the rapidly descending undead energy spheres.
“Uh!”
Upon contact, radiant light erupted from several warriors.
Those responsible for defense naturally had related abilities; they relied on more than just equipment and shields.
But this light almost instantly faded, and muffled groans came from their bodies, followed by the sounds of them collapsing to the ground.
Defenders were almost synonymous with tough guys from Cloud Summit; if they could make a sound, it must have been from extreme pain.
Several warriors fell, and without a moment's pause, the warriors behind them rushed to fill the gaps and collided with the spheres.
One after another, warriors fell, while more surged forward to take their place.
Behind them, Liang Chuyin and Guangyao watched with furious eyes, rushing over.
In a short time, dozens of warriors had collapsed; the situation was evidently dire.
