Mu Hanyi smiled again.
So far, there were only four nine-star evolvers in the entire national region, and each of these four knew clearly how they reached the nine-star level and what sacrifices they made.
At this level, they understood how powerful they were.
Why did everyone want to break their heads to get in? Isn’t it because at this rank, they could go wherever they wanted in the world!
Is it easy to kill a nine-star? How naive was that statement!
"I know you don't believe me, but that's okay, you'll believe it soon enough."
After Xia Lei said this, she and the few people behind her suddenly disappeared.
They truly vanished, not like Mu Hanyi's quick movement that resembled teleportation.
The boss of the Radiant World Army was stunned.
It was only at the moment when Xia Lei and the others disappeared that he realized these people were not true entities but phantoms projected from who knows where!
No wonder, when he unleashed his full might earlier, Xia Lei, an eight-star evolver, had no reaction at all; it turned out she wasn't even a real person.
But what kind of ability was this? It was so realistic that even a nine-star evolver didn't notice!
Mu Hanyi quickly changed his position.
Although he didn't think anyone else in Cloud Summit Villa, apart from Ye Zhongming and the unknown nine-star evolver, could pose a threat to him, it was always better to be cautious since this place was the territory of the first power in the national region.
However, just as he moved, he felt himself being locked onto.
After that, he stopped moving.
It wasn’t that he couldn’t escape, but rather that he realized the locked target wasn’t him but the entire Puxing Town. Unless he could immediately break free from this town, he would remain within the aimed range.
He looked up and gazed at the vaguely visible main villa in the distance.
Mu Hanyi could have rushed out of the town immediately; with his strength, it would probably take only a few seconds. But he had a feeling that as long as he moved, those should be… magic crystal cannons, would immediately fire.
He sensed a genuine threat from above.
Had the magic crystal cannons of Cloud Summit become this powerful?
Mu Hanyi lowered his head and discovered that the ground of Puxing Town had lit up.
Whether on the streets or on the buildings, bright lines crisscrossed everywhere. Before he could do anything, these bright lines formed a separate space, trapping him inside.
The surrounding scenery remained unchanged, every blade of grass and tree visible, yet beyond the bright lines, it seemed like another world.
Like something out of a sci-fi movie, machines and rows of gene warriors appeared out of thin air around him, along with warriors wielding magic crystal weapons that even Mu Hanyi could recognize.
Having learned from the earlier lesson, Mu Hanyi was now more cautious and realized that these were all phantoms.
"Boss Mu, welcome to the black and white phantom dream space."
Xia Lei's voice came from all directions, making it impossible to determine her location.
A pair of fist weapons appeared in Mu Hanyi's hands, made of black leather with silver metal spikes, looking similar to that of a thug's gear.
At the same time, a delicate whistle appeared in his mouth, and behind him, a large red and purple battle flag emerged.
The fist weapons and whistle, others might not know what they were, but this battle flag was well known throughout the national region.
It was the Howling Sky Battle Flag of the Radiant World Army.
One could say that this piece of equipment had faced many hardships, undergoing several repairs and upgrades, reaching the current purple level, and was one of the few items within the national region that could rival Cloud Summit's equipment.
"In this space, there is only one way to get out, which is to defeat the opponent predetermined by the space."
Xia Lei continued, her voice filled with undisguised joy, as if she had encountered something very fun.
"Boss Mu, I know you think you are nine-star invincible and that even if you come to our Cloud Summit’s home, nothing will happen. At worst, you can leave; no one can do anything to you."
