“Why is it me?”
At the top of a tree, Mo Ye hung in the air, watching a special battle in the distance.
It was a fierce fight between two groups of mutated life forms, and the small plain between two mountains was almost entirely occupied by them. Even from afar, the smell of blood wafted over, thick and pungent.
Upon closer inspection, one could see that a large group on the eastern side was fiercely attacking another group on the western side. Among the higher-level life forms visible, there was one at the ninth level and several at the eighth level. The remaining mutated life forms at the seventh level accounted for at least ten percent of the total numbers, which was a quite terrifying ratio.
Moreover, all types of creatures were present, both flying in the sky and running on the ground.
The mutated life forms on the other side were somewhat peculiar; they seemed to be at a disadvantage, even retreating slightly, but their formation was very solid. They stood on higher ground, showing that they did not instinctively charge forward in waves but rather maintained a steady defense. Constantly, groups of these creatures interspersed and maneuvered within the formation to replace their fallen and exhausted comrades.

Compared to the other side where skills and energy were flying everywhere, this side's approach was shockingly simple, relying entirely on their physical abilities to fight. Even the flying monsters in the sky were battling without relying on skills.
Ye Zhongming also stood at the top of the tree, arms crossed, steady and unmoved even by the strong winds that blew.
After becoming a nine-star evolver, his strength had reached a leap in power.
In the past, he didn’t understand what being a nine-star evolver meant. Even after living two lives and hearing many tales about evolvers of this level, he had never truly felt it.

Mo Ye's gaze fell upon the life forms in defensive positions on the western side; she had long noticed something different about them.

Among the opponents, there was a ninth-level existence. Even if its strength was not the strongest among its level, it was still a top-tier life form. After the battle began, it still hadn’t broken through the defensive formation even after nearly fifteen minutes.
“Yeah.” Ye Zhongming looked at the battle, his expression serious.
“Remember the monsters? Those green-skinned creatures, I once thought they were bizarre life forms created by nuclear leaks or other radioactive materials. You also remember my encounter in the Cold Bay Rainforest, right? And those strange life forms without magic crystals we encountered at the villa.”
