The warriors of Cloud Summit now had little feeling towards eighth-level life, which was a change in mindset after having killed a ninth-level creature.
However, previously it wasn't just about collective combat. If the situation were to switch and the black man inside were to fight, even the strong Cloud Summit Villa wouldn't have many who could definitely defeat this ominous nether moth that exuded a tremendous sense of oppression.
Even if this guy had reduced his strength by nearly one-third. Also, the eighth-level classification was ultimately a guess from Ye Zhongming; what if this creature actually possessed ninth-level strength? After all, it was such a massive creature.
That black man may have been mentally broken, yet he was still an evolver who had survived in the apocalypse for nearly six years. He let out a roar, his fists and feet glowing, and stomped fiercely on the ground, launching himself towards the nether moth in the sky.
This wasn't due to any great courage but rather a reflexive counterattack of an evolver when faced with dire straits.
In the eyes of many, the profession and skills used by this black man, or the power and speed displayed in his ascent, weren't particularly impressive. Yet no one mocked him, for at that moment, he represented the entire group of evolvers.
Even those who weren't part of his faction felt a slight sense of empathy.
Without equipment or potions, the man's attacks were actually quite ineffective. The nether moth in the air didn't even move, maintaining its original descent speed. When the man approached its abdomen, some of the suction cup-like organs suddenly opened, spraying a mixture of black and green liquid that drenched the black man's head.
With the immense force, the once-mighty evolver was knocked to the ground. He tried to struggle to his feet, but for some reason, his body felt increasingly limp and powerless. After several attempts to stand, he finally managed to get up, only to see a wave of darkness closing in above him.
The enormous body of the nether moth descended directly, crushing the black man beneath it.
No one thought this man could survive. Even if he were a six-star evolver, or even an eight-star, without equipment, very few could withstand such a monstrous weight with just their own strength and defense.
At the very least, Ye Zhongming felt that if he faced that blow, he wouldn’t just be injured; he would likely die.
“Challenge failed, purchasing ratio decreased by ten percent.”
The spatial prompt completely announced the man's death.
Even though the great America side knew there was little hope, there were still some scattered sighs of disappointment.
“Next, please have the women’s camp, who passed the death ladder test, strike the Soaring Crystal.”
The stone platform had appeared at the second exit at some point, and an exit had also manifested on the women’s camp's giant egg energy shield.
The people of Cloud Summit were a bit far away, unaware of what the women's camp had discussed. After about ten seconds, a woman stepped out.
Among the forces known as the women’s camp, both Ye Zhongming and the others from Cloud Summit were more concerned about this group.
Not because they were particularly strong, but because they resembled another independent red dress guard.
All members were female evolvers, and so far, Cloud Summit had only seen this women’s camp emerge with some scale and reputation.
Everyone was still looking forward to their performance.
“It’s Jiana.”
Some voices reached the ears of those from Cloud Summit, informing them of the name of the woman who had just appeared. Unlike the previous black man, who was just an ordinary member of great America, Jiana was one of the spokespersons in the women’s camp, which had dual leaders.
No one expected the women’s camp to send out one of its two leaders. Everyone had seen the outcome of the first man from great America, so why wasn’t the women’s camp afraid of repeating that fate?
