The rear camp was not too far from the frontline, so when Achinas led his men over, the Cloud Summit members did not retreat.
Of course, they didn't want to leave.
Achinas sat on his battle beast, the Swift White Fox, gazing gloomily at the small town.
There were no guards, and the main gate stood wide open. A few young men and women stood at the entrance, watching as over a hundred thousand troops approached, their faces showing no change in color.
Helander and Rustig walked behind Achinas. Like Donis, they were among the strongest in the human alliance.
Hearing that Donis was trapped inside, both men hurried over, eager to see what kind of force could keep three eight-star evolvers and their entire team at bay!
It wasn't that they underestimated the enemy; rather, even if they lost three rounds, they knew they held an absolute advantage at this moment.
They had more than ten eight-star evolvers on their side, and just the hundred thousand evolvers they brought along was enough to flatten the small town in an instant.
Their arrival also prompted Achinas to reconsider his plan to mobilize everyone; these forces were sufficient.
"Break down the walls!"
Achinas commanded firmly, and over a hundred stone throwers were pushed out from their formation.
These stone throwers resembled the catapults of the cold weapon era, but the difference was that they were roulette weapons, mainly produced by grade 6 and 7 roulette.
Although they had no level, the stones they flung had a strong destructive power against solid defenses like sturdy walls.
It was said that such devices were rare in the national area, but there were quite a few in the European region.
The sight of over a hundred stone throwers attacking together was quite spectacular.
The small town was not a sturdy fixed encampment; it was simply a makeshift wall that the alliance had repaired on top of a rudimentary structure built by the previous team occupying this area.
While it seemed decent, it was far from the stability of large strongholds with specially treated walls. Minutes later, the walls surrounding the town were completely collapsed.
However, the Cloud Summit team inside remained eerily quiet.
Achinas and his two companions exchanged glances, feeling that something was off.
After waiting for a moment, the alliance decided to storm into the town and take a look.
With such absolute advantage, there was no reason to be afraid just because the enemy remained silent.
However, to be safe, Achinas ordered the ranged troops to bombard the town thoroughly.
As for the lives of Peijia and the others, they were not in their considerations. If they died, the spoils left behind, especially Donis's, would all belong to Achinas and the others.
The bombardment lasted for twenty minutes, and various skills nearly flattened the town, leaving vast ruins in their wake.
However, it was clear that Achinas was still prudent; the warehouse location had not come under attack.
"Charge in! As long as they're not our people, kill them all."
Achinas needed no captives; he only needed to make it clear that his alliance was inviolable.
The hundred thousand troops surged into the small town from all directions, while Achinas stayed outside with many high-level warriors and guards.
"Perhaps we should have used this method from the start." Helander said, touching the thick layer of callus on his knuckles as he looked at the town.
He did not pity Donis; rather, he was concerned that even though the prior bombardment had intentionally spared the material warehouse, the army entering the town would inevitably cause some damage and allow for some items to be taken away. For him, even a small loss was unacceptable.
"You can take half of Donis's team." Achinas remarked, eyeing the town.
Although there were ten pieces of blue equipment in the warehouse that belonged to him, more materials and scrolls belonged to Helander.
"Rustig can take the second floor, how about that?"
Rustig shrugged, "You decide."
Helander chuckled, and since the objective was achieved, he pointed at the town and said, "I bet one green equipment that our people will finish the battle in ten minutes."
