The snow wolf king stopped there, looking at Ye Zhongming, its large mouth slightly open.
"I promised you to abandon my attacks on Black Dragon City, and I did. I promised you that I wouldn't attack Black Dragon City again within six months, and I will keep that promise. I promised you that I wouldn't interfere with you killing those mutated lives in Black Dragon City, and I haven't. So tell me, what rules have I not followed?"
Ye Zhongming was silent for a moment before suddenly laughing, "It does seem that way."
The snow wolf king's mouth cracked wider.
"I didn't think you came here just to see how I was doing, so you must be... here to kill me?"
Ye Zhongming looked at the ninth-level life form.
He had previously made agreements with the snow wolf king, but they were merely verbal agreements. Even though the ninth-level life had its own dignity and wouldn't easily break them, the reality was that this ninth-level creature held a grudge and had been watching the people of Cloud Summit.
It kept to its promises, but the rest, it wouldn't.
"Of course." The snow wolf king licked its lips. "If I weren't afraid that you evolvers would stop fighting among yourselves and instead unite against me, you wouldn't have made it this far."
Facing a ninth-level giant wolf that could speak human language on the icy plains at night was not a pleasant feeling.
