Chapter 1493: Battle of the Same Level (Part 2) ⚔️

CHAPTER TEXT:

In "Two-in-One~~," a warship appeared in the rune formation!

Previously, Mo Ye’s rune master skills could summon enormous logs that fell from the sky to attack targets, which had already amazed many. The massive Wind Blades also instilled fear.

However, this was still within everyone’s understanding—just some wooden and wind runes.

But now, what was happening with the sudden emergence of a warship resembling ancient styles?

This ship was large, at least about one hundred fifty meters long. Excluding the mast, the height of the ship's body exceeded ten meters. The sails on the mast were pure black, without any patterns, and thick ropes connected to the hull, hanging triangular black flags that bore no insignia.

The wooden hull appeared quite archaic, shining with a captivating matte finish. It bore no decorative patterns at all, making the entire ship seem somewhat monotonous.

Yet no one cared, as all eyes were focused on the sides of the hull.

There, there were ten gigantic metal cannons lined up on each side.

The eight-level demon monster that had taken the eight Cloud Summit weapons looked up at this suddenly appearing object, finally showing a hint of fear within its heart.

It sensed a dangerous aura emanating from the ship.

And this ship immediately responded with an attack.

The warship tilted in the air, and from that row of cannon mouths erupted massive Wind Blades, each several dozen meters long.

Once these Wind Blades appeared, they almost instantly cleaved down on the ground, targeting the subordinates of this eight-level demon monster.

Due to the angle between the sky and the ground, these Wind Blades slashed down at an angle. Each blade cut several demon monsters in half.

Roar!

The eight-level demon monster roared in anger, throwing its two weapons into the air, which flew across the distance to crash into the ship's hull on the battlefield.

With two loud crashes, the weapons struck the hull and were directly bounced away, leaving no trace whatsoever.

Seeing that such an attack was ineffective, the demon monster threw out two more weapons, this time targeting the spinning rune formation.

One must admit, this demon monster was adept at identifying the key to the situation, yet it still miscalculated. The weapons were whisked away just as easily by the rune formation.

The ship tilted again, launching its second attack with another ten Wind Blades, claiming dozens more lives.

In two rounds of attacks, there was only about a ten-second interval.

Though the combined attacks did not kill more than a hundred demon monsters, a closer inspection revealed that these Wind Blade attacks were all directed at higher-level demon monsters. Among the deceased, there were two seven-level demons, with most being six-levels, and only a few at the five-level mark.

The eight-level demon monster keenly detected this issue and roared again, sending thousands of its minions charging towards Mo Ye.

A fierce killing intent appeared on Mo Ye's heroic face. Though holding a spear in an awkward posture, she naturally threw the spear out.

If this was a last-ditch effort in battle, throwing a weapon might be understandable, but the battle had just begun, and they hadn't even connected yet. Why would she throw out her weapon?

This was one of the capabilities granted by Mo Ye’s three-pronged spear—called "Lead Spear!"

The weapon shot forward at an almost uncatchable speed, reaching the front of a seven-level demon monster before it even realized, piercing through its body, and then exiting out the back, continuing to stab through another demon monster, then a third, a fourth… In just a few seconds, the spear thrown by Mo Ye had penetrated over a hundred demon monsters!

When the spear returned to Mo Ye's hand, that number increased by over twenty.

These demon monsters had all been pierced through. Whether six-level or seven-level, none could withstand this weapon.

Some demon monsters collapsed, the damage from the spear sufficient to be fatal; however, many still stood. They were injured, their bodies pierced with gaping holes, but for these robust demon monsters, it didn’t mean immediate death. Several seven-level monsters, despite such injuries, charged towards Mo Ye without a care.
