The Black Halo Light Shield and the continuously refreshing black earth armor meant he didn't have to worry too much about the attacks from the monsters; he only needed to protect his vital areas.
However, with the Yama Tree as a burden, Ye Zhongming had to divert some of his attention to care for her, which noticeably slowed down his retreat compared to how quickly he had charged in.

The power was impressive; whether it was the mysterious hammer or the Wind and Thunder Twin Birth, both were top-tier items from the Blue Secret Realm or even Earth. The combination, even if just temporarily, resulted in enormous power.
Ye Zhongming did not anticipate that this thing could inflict harm even on Eighth-Level life, as evidenced by the two struggling Eighth-Level Demon Monsters trying to get up.
