“Teleportation.”

“Every two hours, you can perform an instant movement that covers a maximum distance of twenty meters.”

“When teleporting, any attribute of the body must not be less than ten percent of its original value, and mental strength must not be less than twenty percent. The target area must be within your line of sight, and there must not be any obstacles taller than fifty percent of your height between you and the target.”

“Teleportation only applies to the main body wearing the equipment. If the body is restrained or the weight of the carried items exceeds fifty percent of the body weight, the skill becomes ineffective.”

Ye Zhongming looked at the inconspicuous ring on his hand, which bore the skill called teleportation, and his heart surged with excitement.

Although it was just one ability, Ye Zhongming's mind was filled with thoughts of using this ability to kill enemies.

A sudden ambush before the battle begins, teleporting behind the target for a sneak attack once the battle starts, or even if he couldn't defeat the target, he could quickly use this skill to escape.

This was merely the simplest application; combined with companions or other skills, it could create various tactics.

This skill was entirely elite-level.

Ye Zhongming's happiness didn't stop there because this was equipment he had created, meaning he could repeat this process. As long as the materials were sufficient, wouldn't it mean he could possess many of these? Theoretically, as long as he carried countless rings like this, he could continuously teleport, just like the Holy Father?!

However, he quickly calmed down, realizing he was thinking too much.

Firstly, there were no fixed blueprints for creating such equipment; he relied solely on being a top-tier craftsman and the high-quality materials in hand. Just by looking at the ring's level... silver. Such a piece of equipment with excellent capabilities was merely silver-ranked, which clearly did not match its intrinsic value.

Secondly, up until now, Ye Zhongming did not understand why experiments on weapons and armor had all failed while only accessories succeeded. Was it mere coincidence, or was the spatial ability only suitable for accessories?

Moreover, he was uncertain if he could create this equipment again and whether the ability would still be teleportation. If not, what would it be?

These doubts were questions Ye Zhongming could not answer himself; he didn't want to make conjectures out of thin air, so he simply went to find Liu Zhenghong to obtain more of these eggs and create several more to verify.

Upon leaving the room, he bumped into Xia Lei and Shasha, who was walking beside her, along with Bai Feng and a few others trailing behind. Seeing Ye Zhongming, Xia Lei was the first to approach him.

The big sister boss of Cloud Summit looked at the newly appeared ring on Ye Zhongming's hand with confusion, unsure why her man was wearing silver equipment.

The silver glow of this teleportation ring was quite out of place amid Ye Zhongming's predominantly blue or ‘colorless’ gear.

Ye Zhongming immediately understood; these people should be the leaders of the forces that had agreed to manage areas under the name of Cloud Summit. He glanced over them, taking stock in his mind, and found it was pretty much as he had anticipated.

“Let’s talk while we walk.” Ye Zhongming pointed ahead and walked on; they immediately followed.

“Your choice might mean that after a certain period, you can no longer separate from Cloud Summit. Have you all thought this through?”

Hearing Ye Zhongming say this, the group nodded collectively. Bai Feng said, “Don't worry, Boss Ye. It's still the same; I've wanted to join Cloud Summit for a long time. The more I follow you guys and see what Cloud Summit is like, the more I feel this is how life should be lived. While we develop on our own, we are just beasts, uncivilized beasts.”

The other leaders behind him nodded in agreement.

In the apocalypse, people previously believed that those who lived well were those who had 'people with guns' in hand. Not only could they exploit the resources of their subordinates, but they also had someone to fight for them. Although being a leader came with many troubles, sometimes exhausting both mentally and physically, they could live better, and everyone accepted that.
