CHAPTER TEXT:

"Burning Soul and Falling Fire."

A large area of ghost fire fell from the blood-red sky, enveloping the father and son.

These ghost fires floated lightly, their descent not in a straight line, but swaying back and forth.

Yet they were incredibly fast.

As soon as they appeared, Li Daqian and his son in the Ten Thousand Beast Manor had no room to dodge.

Li Daqian, after all, was an eight-star expert; even though he was affected by the energy of the Pain Wall, his recovery speed was much faster than that of his son.

He struggled to stand up, disregarding the attacks from the energy Troll behind him. To move faster, Li Daqian even voluntarily ended his bloodline state.

He quickly ran to Li Zhi Chong, who was not far from him, kicked away the attacking zombie dogs, and pulled his son close.

Then, an ancient umbrella flew out of Li Daqian's spatial domain, opening up to block the falling ghost fire.

A series of dull thuds echoed as the ghost fire landed on the umbrella. It was light, but each collision with the umbrella sent out tremendous vibrations, showing the power of these ghost fires.

Every time a ghost fire landed, Li Daqian's body trembled slightly, indicating that the umbrella's defense was linked to his energy.

Li Zhi Chong remained in a negative state, but perhaps his father's presence gave him strength. He was noticeably quieter than before.

He was simply fearful and weak, not a fool; he understood that both father and son were caught in a crisis.

However, he knew this but was unable to react.

After Alamos cast this skill, he was slightly out of breath. Although he seemed to casually use those minor spells within the flourishing incantation, they also consumed mental energy. The Pain Wall and this Burning Soul and Falling Fire skill were on the same level, which drained him significantly.

He was facing two opponents, one an eight-star and the other a seven-star, and although he had the advantage, the eight-star was not in perfect form, and neither of them had experience dealing with sorcerers, which allowed Alamos to seize the initiative. Otherwise, the battle's outcome would have been uncertain.

But now, Alamos finally felt relieved.

All his previous preparations were essentially to allow him to unleash his true killing move: the Burning Soul and Falling Fire skill.

Alamos, when it came to combat, had no real offensive capabilities himself; he basically relied on the two summoned constructs in front of him.

But he cleverly utilized his abilities, specifically the ghost fires now drifting down.

Burning Soul and Falling Fire was also a negative state, a capability that reduced the opponent's mental power and created illusions.

The larger the number, the more severe the negative state became with each hit.

Typically, other sorcerers would first use this skill to lower their opponent's mental power, then employ other spells to increase their success rate.

However, Alamos didn’t do that. He discovered that for those unfamiliar with sorcerers, the threat posed by the Burning Soul and Falling Fire, or the perceived threat it created, was the greatest, whether in energy fluctuations or visual effects.

Thus, these individuals would try everything possible to block the ghost fires from landing on them.

Once they attempted to intercept, this ghost fire, which was effective against humans, would become a complete energy impact upon contact with other materials. Each ghost fire was filled with abundant energy.

Undoubtedly, this turned his auxiliary skill into an offensive one.

When the target realized they couldn't block it after a long time, they would have exhausted their defensive equipment or their own abilities, giving Alamos a better opportunity to kill.

Now, Li Daqian had undoubtedly fallen into this trap.

By the time he noticed, it was already too late.

Alamos began to feel pity for the seemingly extraordinary ancient umbrella.

The ghost fires, which initially fell one by one, turned into a torrent coming from all directions, almost simultaneously crashing onto the umbrella, creating massive energy shocks that radiated outward from the center.
