In the monitoring room, there was a burst of cheers, albeit not too loud, coming from the followers of various leaders behind them.
The big shots in the front felt invigorated, but they still maintained a sense of composure.
Alamos was the first to look at the energy-representing machine, which displayed a drastic fluctuation; the value jumped from twenty-nine percent back up to fourteen percent!
This meant that this battle not only replenished the energy consumed by Damov but also brought an additional six percent reward.
Amidst the excitement, Alamos and several big shots felt a tinge of disappointment. If Che Dongzhi's evolution level had been eight stars, the outcome might have been different, yielding even greater energy rewards—potentially over fifty percent in total. Unfortunately, despite the fierce battle, Che Dongzhi and his subordinates had relatively lower evolution levels.
Nonetheless, Damov had ultimately won, showcasing the prowess of this muscular man from Russia.
"That guy isn't dead, right?"
Everyone was concerned as they saw Damov collapse after killing Che Dongzhi, lying motionless on the ground for quite a while.
Alamos shook his head, "No, if he were dead, this subspace would vanish immediately."
As he spoke, Damov got back up. His body, resembling a tattered rag, looked as if it could fall apart at any moment, yet he staggered step by step out of the space.
When Damov reappeared in the monitoring room, everyone was puzzled as to why this Russian man could survive such severe injuries.
However, seeing this muscular man's body up close gave them a faint sense of answer.
The distance from the space back to the monitoring room was short, yet Damov walked without stumbling, and everyone noticed that his wounds were visibly healing at an astonishing rate.
"Endure the pain, kill effectively, recover quickly—these are the main points for an evolver, right?"
Seeing the astonished looks from the crowd, Damov flashed a grin. His injuries made his smile appear quite grotesque, but his words plunged everyone into silence.
Damov was not just talking; he had proven it himself. With a metallic body, powerful claw skills, and now an abnormal recovery speed, he managed to overcome the odds in this battle and survive.
"Aside from the jerky made from the violent bear, I've traded all the other magic crystals and items I got for Evolution Potions, Bloodline Upgrade Crystals, and Skill Enhancement Scrolls. I don't need equipment; as long as these aspects are strong enough, I am invincible."
The abilities brought by his bloodline included the metalization of hair, claw attacks, and body regeneration, which were all skills that Damov had upgraded to a high level.
To achieve this, he gave up all other rewards. As long as there were suitable scrolls or crystals, Damov would purchase them regardless of the price.
Thus, today, he fought relying solely on these three methods as a man-bear.
As he casually stuffed his intestines back into his abdomen and chewed on some recovery jerky, Damov found a spot to sit down and gradually healed his body.
At this moment, no one dared to underestimate him.
"Who will take the next match?"
With a relatively sufficient amount of energy, Alamos and the others felt emboldened. Many eyes turned towards the few 'hardline' figures in the different national zones.
"Two methods," Alamos said, holding up two fingers.
"The first method is to continue eliminating these… minor characters to accumulate enough energy, then use that energy to take down the stronger opponents with numbers."
"The second method is to kill the strong opponents first and end this battle in the space early."
The first method naturally meant not letting the eight-star top experts take action, which would require the mid-level forces in various powers to step in. However, this approach carried certain risks because the apocalypse forces typically operated like parasitic organizations, where the boss's strength was exceptionally prominent, but the lower ranks would significantly drop in skill level.
