Chapter 1393: Which One to Kill? 🔪

Wen Yan lied.

He didn't tell Nine Dragons the truth, but he wasn't completely deceiving him either.

In the center of the Spartitu space, several people were standing together. Among them were Wen Yan, the head of Alamos Laboratory, Alamos himself, David, and several foreigners who obviously had features from West Asia and Europe.

These people were the participants in the operation against Ten Thousand Beast Manor.

The space they were in was vastly different from where the water steward Xia Bai and Nine Dragons were. This place resembled a control room filled with a sense of technology and modernity.

In the enormous room, on one side facing the door, there were several large light barriers displaying real-time conditions of some rooms, clearly showing the statuses of Ye Zhongming, Xia Bai, the water steward, Qin Ru, Che Donglai, and others.

To the left of the screen were various monitors displaying complex data that pulsed rhythmically. In the center of these monitors was a slightly larger round screen with a water-like pattern line that constantly swayed gently.

To the right of the screen was a long conference table that could comfortably seat twenty to thirty people. Beside the table were two wine cabinets filled with various fine wines.

“The energy is below fifty percent; I don't know why,” said the elderly man named Alamos, who had the profession of pain sorcerer, before his gaze fell on the screen.

Wen Yan's eyes flashed with anger, but his face still wore a smile.

“Mr. Alamos, does this affect our plans in any way?”

The Spartitu space was not a product of the pavilion of quality but a large device from Alamos Laboratory. Wen Yan didn't know much about its functions.

The elderly man glanced at Wen Yan before speaking slowly, “The Spartitu space was originally just a large storage space, but after our modifications, it has now become a space that can instill fear in any opponent.”

Not only Wen Yan, but the other heads of foreign district factions also listened attentively. However, Wen Yan didn't fully believe it; he thought Alamos was just embellishing his achievements.

He believed in the impressive power of the potions and powders from Alamos Laboratory, but he couldn't believe they could modify such a miraculous space. The boss of the pavilion of quality certainly didn't trust that.

“In the activated range of the Spartitu space, the space can isolate unrelated life forms into individual areas based on the amount of energy they possess and their distances from each other. These people cannot leave on their own and can only be sent out after defeating their opponents; otherwise, they can only wait for us to reclaim the space.”

Everyone present knew about the capabilities of the Spartitu space; after all, this was the basis of their previous cooperation. Hearing the elderly man speak again, they felt somewhat impatient.

Now that the space was already deployed, what was the anomaly of the energy being insufficient? Was it resolvable? These elite individuals from the various districts were locked up; who knew if they had any methods to escape? If this space was damaged, their side would be under attack.

Their strength was formidable, but not to the extent that they could face so many elite individuals from various districts together.

Alamos observed the expressions of these individuals and paid no heed to them, continuing to speak slowly: “And their opponents are us.”

“Look, their situation is clear to us. We just need to send individuals capable of defeating them to eliminate them.”

As Alamos spoke, his expression was quite self-satisfied.

“But what does this have to do with the energy being less than fifty percent?” a muscular man from Russia grumbled.

“Hmph.” Alamos let out a light huff, “Every time we choose a room to enter, it requires energy consumption. For example, this esteemed… Mr. Nine Dragons, he is currently facing this female evolver. If there was enough energy, we could send Mr. Wen or David to assist him. With two against one, victory would be certain.”
