The enormous chimpanzee immediately became agitated. Its body remained still, but its eyes turned blood-red, and its breathing quickened, with its chest heaving violently.
The leading elder instructed everyone to step back.
The personnel from Alamos Laboratory had completed their preparations and looked towards the other side.
The team from Guan Cheng Village Laboratory was also busy, but unlike the straightforward approach of Alamos, what they were doing left everyone present dumbfounded.
They were performing surgery!
The members of Guan Cheng Village took matters into their own hands, pulling the mutated chimpanzee out of its cage with several assistants. They knocked it unconscious and pulled out a sharp scalpel to make two large incisions on its shoulder.
Blood immediately gushed out from the wounds.
This scene sent hearts racing among the onlookers.

Seconds after the powder entered the wounds, the mutated chimpanzee awakened. It clearly felt pain and looked down at the wounds, attempting to grab at them. It knelt on the ground, its upper limbs spread out, continuously screaming. Its head lifted high, thick veins bulging all over its body, pulsating frequently, creating a terrifying sight.
Its originally pitch-black body appeared as if it were on fire, with fiery red dots appearing within, clearly visible through the skin.
Then, something unbelievable happened.
Something began to grow out of the two wounds on its shoulder...
The evolvers present, being elites in the apocalypse, had keen eyesight and could see that what was emerging from the wounds was a segment of rapidly growing white bone!
Even though each of them could be considered a killer, witnessing this scene still made many feel a tightening in their scalps.
Accompanying the bones were flesh tissues, densely interwoven, a mix of red and purple, further adding to the bloody and eerie nature of the scene.
Those who had previously looked down upon Guan Cheng Village’s dark laboratory couldn’t help but regard the strange four-legged man with newfound respect. Just this single act was enough to make one cautious.
The bones and flesh extended rapidly, soon forming limbs nearly as long as the original arms. As the flesh gradually enveloped the bones, a brand-new arm emerged. However, unlike the original upper limbs, these new arms had no skin; all the tissues, flesh, and blood vessels were exposed, appearing grotesque and horrifying.
“My turn is done too.”
Seeing that the mutated chimpanzee was gradually calming down and was somewhat dazed trying to control its new arms, the humans in the vicinity fell silent, so this statement clearly reached everyone’s ears.
