Ye Zhongming activated his lineage, and the lightning sand monster with two legs was a summon of that lineage. The sand, naturally, was meant to enhance the power of his lineage, increasing his abilities by twenty percent when in sand compared to other mediums.
The lightning sand monster, as a byproduct of his lineage that could be summoned indefinitely, could have its power increased using skill upgrade scrolls. Ye Zhongming had already upgraded it twice, and now this creature's attack power was comparable to that of a seventh-level mutated life.
Needle bird, Thunderous Mechanic, and Staff of Nature had always been Ye Zhongming's auxiliary "helpers," so it was no surprise to see them out now.
The shining star that appeared above his head was the ability of the Star Spirit—Brilliant Star.
As for the celestial phenomenon, it was similarly derived from converting a temporarily hired Star Spirit into a permanently owned one, granting him all-new abilities.

“Star Spirit Instinct 4, Glutton. The spirit can use materials it is interested in to store energy within its body, and once the energy reaches a certain level, it will enter the next growth stage.”
“Star Spirit Instinct 5, Starlight Vision. Every three hundred hours, the Star Spirit can activate this ability, turning the surrounding area within a fifteen-kilometer radius into a night sky mode. Within this range, the owner will receive blessings from the stars, enhancing all relevant data and power—including, but not limited to, the owner’s body, skills, lineage, and summons—by twenty-five percent.”
“Star Spirit Instinct 6, Nightfall in Sand. When activating Starlight Vision, depending on the Star Spirit's level, three different phenomena will occur:
- Initial Stage: Star Sand Screen. Living beings within the sand screen will have their movement speed reduced by twenty percent.
- Infant Stage: Star Sand Sea. Living beings within the sand sea will have their agility reduced by thirty percent, and under the control of the spirit's owner, they can deal starlight damage to targets.
- Mature Stage: Star Sand Storm. Targets within the sand sea will have their agility reduced by fifty percent, and when controlled, the sand within the Starlight Vision can be transformed into a massive star sand vortex, dealing significant mixed damage to targets.”

Today was the first time Ye Zhongming activated these two abilities of the Star Spirit, enveloping a fifteen-kilometer radius in Starlight Vision. Jicheng was not large, so a fifteen-kilometer radius covered an area of over seven hundred square kilometers, nearly enveloping the entire city.
Especially at the edges, some evolved life forms were shocked to see one side bathed in bright daylight while the other shone with a dazzling starry sky.
This change in celestial phenomena was even more unbelievable to them than the attack on the Red Kwanzaa Free Army.
