In the arena, the people were not as calm as Ye Zhongming, expressing a variety of voices.
There were those who marveled, those who scoffed, those who were puzzled, those who questioned, and even those who seemed mad… All of this was due to the five rankings that appeared on the magical wall that resembled a screen.
The rankings for mutated life forms, battle beasts, and equipment in the national district were all the same as what the captain had said earlier. In short, no one explained these rankings to those looking at them, but through these introductions, everyone was encouraged to understand each item listed and thus establish the authority of the rankings.
Among these rankings, aside from the national district equipment ranking that was dominated by Cloud Summit, and aside from the top ten in the battle beast ranking where Cloud Summit's name rarely appeared, Cloud Summit did have entries. For instance, Ye Zhongming's flying magic beast ranked thirteenth, evaluated as being weak in individual combat but strong overall, suitable for handling large-scale, low-level group battles.
Park Soo-young's three-trunked elephant ranked even higher, standing at eleventh, just behind the sky裂eagle of the Radiant World Army's second army commander. This ranking attracted much attention and discussion on-site, as the level of the three-trunked elephant was marked as level eight, which was higher than the levels of the battle beasts in the top ten, yet it could only rank eleventh. This undoubtedly puzzled many.
However, the explanations provided were acceptable, noting two reasons: firstly, although the eight-level three-trunked elephant had a high level, it was an auxiliary-type battle beast, and its combat power required stringent conditions to be effective. Secondly, the three-trunked elephant had suffered heavy injuries, with damage to its head and low intelligence, making it difficult to assess how much combat power it still retained.
Ye Zhongming agreed with this ranking, of course, based on the condition that the three-trunked elephant was indeed as described above. However, he knew that the five rings society had not reached into the secret realms and was naturally unaware of the three-trunked elephant's performance in the recent battle with the Temple of Dawn, or it wouldn't have been merely ranked eleventh.
But this was good; Cloud Summit Villa attracted too much attention on the equipment ranking, so being low-key had its advantages.
Yet when Ye Zhongming saw the comprehensive strength ranking for the national district, a bitter smile appeared on his face.
Once again, the name Cloud Summit appeared, and it was quite high up.
For some unknown reason, the comprehensive strength ranking for the national district included a remarkable number of forces, as many as a hundred.
