A whistling sound rushed past his ears, caused by his body cutting through the air. Ye Zhongming stretched his body and plunged straight down into the vast desert below.
Compared to the large areas in the China region occupied by cities, the sprawling desert felt more like a forbidden zone for life. There was an essential difference between the two, but Ye Zhongming felt one similarity: the number of mutated life forms in the air was relatively sparse.
In forests, rainforests, mountainous regions, or high plateaus, Ye Zhongming would absolutely not dare to descend like this because perhaps before he even landed, he would have been pecked to white bone by airborne creatures.
In his line of sight, the Star Mother Disc grew larger until it was within reach.
Ye Zhongming tapped on the surface of this massive disc to dissipate the inertia from his free fall, twisting his body slightly before landing on the ground. The thick sand provided him with a good cushioning effect.

Before Ye Zhongming touched the ground, he began to observe the surface of the enormous Star Mother Disc.

Out of the thirty-seven rewards, at least more than half were appealing to Ye Zhongming!
It should be noted that Ye Zhongming was now a seven-star evolver, and his true power was comparable to that of eighth-level life. Therefore, the items he found enticing had to be at least on the same level as the eight-star evolution potion. This meant that at least half of the items on the disc were valued equivalently to the eight-star evolution potion.
Indeed, there was an eight-star evolution potion listed separately among the rewards, hanging high and attracting Ye Zhongming's gaze.
Currently on Earth, the number of eighth-level life forms was increasing; however, it wasn’t yet possible for anyone to accumulate enough magic crystals to spin out a bottle of eight-star evolution potion. Even with incredible luck, at least ten eighth-level magic crystals were required! Moreover, one had to find a type of eighth-level disc that only needed ten magic crystals to spin, and the reality was that most eighth and ninth-level discs required a minimum of twelve to fifteen magic crystals.
But here, if one had enough luck, it only required one!
Ye Zhongming currently had one in his hand!
He didn’t think too much about it nor did he examine the reward items in greater detail. He quickly pressed the grade 9 next magic crystal into the groove, causing the Star Mother Disc to start spinning.
At that moment, the surrounding sand monsters finally realized a human had entered the core area and roared as they rushed over. Ye Zhongming didn’t engage with them; he set the Staff of Nature beside him and used the Shield of the Water Bottle to protect himself.
