Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

I am Tama, named by my Master.
Tama has a family, meow.
A very strong and kind Master, Pochi who is like a little sister, and Liza who is like a mother. Then there’s the cheeky Arisa and the quiet Lulu. They’re not catperson tribe, but they are my precious family, meow.
Arisa said Master would be happy if I added “meow” at the end, but it was a lie. Instead of being pleased, Master was worried.
“Alright~ Let’s go~ Everyone, follow me~”
Arisa took the lead and ran ahead. Today is shopping day.
New clothes! Fluffy and frilly, cute clothes that don’t smell weird.
“If Pochi wears this outfit, maybe Tama would look cooler in this sharp one?”
“Or maybe the one with this ribbon is better?”
Instead of the one Arisa was recommending, I said I wanted the one with the small ribbon that matched Pochi’s.
“Oh? That’s unexpected, you like the cute style, huh~”
Since I don’t understand how to spend money, Arisa took care of the buying.
After finishing shopping, with the leftover money, I got to eat a lot of meat. It was very happy.
Passing by the park, I was looking at that sunny spot wishing I could take a nap there, and there was Master.
“Master~?”
Even though I ran over and talked to him, he looked somehow unwell.
Pochi, who had run together, also looked worried.
“Stomach hurts~?”
“I’m okay, maybe the fatigue showed up.”
Master said that and patted my head softly. Wanting more petting, I rubbed my head against Master’s hand.
◇
Outside! Today was the first time I went outside the city.
Arisa said, “Maybe you lived outside the city when you were little?” but what I remember is only the cold of winter and the warmth of someone’s fur.
I remember well from when I met Pochi, but not much from before.
At first, Pochi didn’t know words and only growled “grrr~” a lot, but she worked hard to learn language. Because I’m the older sister.
The carriage rattling was fun. Arisa and Lulu cried their butts hurt, so I asked, “Are you okay~?” “There’s no such thing as impossible with human wisdom!” they shouted back, but I didn’t really understand. Arisa’s words are fun but always a bit confusing. Strange child.
Arisa taught me lots of things. “Rock-paper-scissors,” “guppa~,” “kenken (hopscotch),” “card games,” “anime songs,” so many things.
Next time I catch prey, I’ll give it to Arisa.
Sitting beside Master, watching the scenery flow by was fun. Pochi sat on the opposite side of Master.
“Meow!”
There was prey in the grass just now!
I tried to jump out, but Liza grabbed my waistbelt and stopped me. Too bad.
Even though the carriage shook, Arisa was complaining. The carriage is supposed to shake, Arisa is still strange.
Pochi, who had been sitting on my head, retaliated against Arisa. Ugh, I want to join too. But I’m the older sister, so I endure. Ugh, endure… impossible, meow♪
I played with Pochi and Arisa until Liza stopped us.
◇
Ugh, prey is flickering.
But I must endure until Master gives the order, endure.
“Agent Pochi! Agent Tama!”
“Yes!”
“Yes, sir!”
I answered Master with the “Shta!” pose Arisa taught me before.
“From now, I assign you two a mission! Confirm the safety around the giant rock!”
“Yes!” “Understood!”
Together with Pochi, I chased the rabbit I had been eyeing.
The rabbit was hopping.
Pochi and I surrounded it.
Slower than monsters, meow.
Jumping to attack.
Hop hop.
Meow, it escaped.
Boing.
Pochi leapt.
The rabbit twisted and slipped out from under Pochi.
Won’t let you escape!
Take that!
But the rabbit hid inside a hole under the grass.
Ugh, if I go in there, the clothes Master bought me will get dirty.
But Pochi didn’t hesitate and plunged into the hole.
Because I’m the older sister, this rabbit is for Pochi.
While wandering around, I caught a snake hiding behind some rocks. It’s a tasty one without poison.
But it’s a bit small. Holding its tail, I spun it around while looking for the next prey and found Arisa gathering firewood.
