Chapter 683: Satou's General Store 🏪

“Collection complete, great victory!”

“Victory~?”

“It’s Pochi and the others’ win!”

When Arisa declared victory, Tama and Pochi struck a sharp pose and also declared their win.

“Oh no! Not just one, but all of them!”

Miss Kerina Gure stomped her feet in frustration, literally.

Looking at the certificate of delivery completion issued by the Great Witch, there was no room for complaints.

Even if they weren’t the first to deliver, it seemed they would buy the requested items on the spot, so it wasn’t a waste.

“Congratulations, everyone at the hero shop. This is a congratulatory gift from the Usher Trading Company.”

“Ah, thank you very much.”

Tomaritrolore—Toma-san, the secretary to the young lady—handed an inventory list to Lolo, the shop owner.

“Where should we deliver the congratulatory gifts?”

A ratman delivery worker was carrying large packages despite his small body.

According to radar, there was a large group of about twenty people.

“It smells really good.”

“Yes~?”

Tama and Pochi sniffed the air.

The three hamsters did too.

“Lolo-san?”

“Um, the hallway is narrow from this side, so could you go around the back?”

Lolo responded to the secretary’s prompt.

“Yes! Leave it to me!”

“I’m going there for a bit.”

Lolo headed from inside the shop toward the backyard where the warehouse was.

“Lolo, let me help.”

“Lolo, wait!”

“Lolo, pet me.”

The plump little hamsters scurried after Lolo.

For some reason, Nana murmured “larval form” and followed along.

After seeing them off, the secretary said, “Well then, we’ll take our leave,” and took the young lady home.

“Mr. Satou! Everyone! Please come this way!”

Lolo’s cheerful voice reached the shop.

The goods the delivery workers brought seemed to be of good quality.

“A feast~?”

“Yes, indeed!”

“It looks very delicious!”

Before the tables in the hero shop’s courtyard, lined with exotic feasts, the companions—both the golden members and silver members—were visibly excited.

“Thank you for waiting.”

Lolo returned from the shop.

“I hung up the closed sign.”

“Today, Lolo-tan is the star, so you could have left it to someone else.”

“No, this is the shop owner’s duty.”

Today, the hero shop closed a little early.

Although I had said I would lock up and flip the sign, Lolo insisted it was her responsibility and wouldn’t let me do it. She must have her reasons.

“Well then, now that Lolo-san is back, let’s start the banquet!”

Hikaru initiated the toast, and the party began.

Most of the congratulatory gifts from the Usher Trading Company were meat dishes, so the many meat lovers among the companions were very satisfied.

Especially, Liza and Tama went wild over the “tough meat” series and the “shellfish” dishes.

It’s rare to see Liza so happy.

“Broccoli, delicious.”

In the vegetable dish area, huge piles of steamed broccoli were stacked, with various seasonings placed beside them.

This area was the exclusive domain of Mia and the hamsters.

I also tried some at Mia’s recommendation; it was quite delicious, and just using various sauces in sequence prevented boredom.

The hamsters were so happy they rolled around hugging broccoli to their bellies, nibbling away.

Watching that, Nana forgot to eat and simply observed.

Since Mia occasionally checked on her so she wouldn’t miss a meal, it was probably fine.

“Are you enjoying yourselves?”

“Yes, Mr. Satou! I’m glad there are lots of foreign dishes.”

I spoke to Ms. Zena.

She had been pushed into a sudden request but worked hard with the silver members.

“Lady Sera, this meat is delicious.”

“I don’t really like greasy food.”

“Pochi thinks meat dripping with fat is delicious.”

Sera was troubled after being offered a thick steak by Miss Karina.

“If you don’t like greasy meat dishes, how about the poultry dishes over there? They’re not as rich as the vegetables but should be easier to eat.”

“That sounds like something I can try.”

“There’s no high or low in meat. Pochi will accompany you wherever.”
